End of the Year. The end of 2014 is fast approaching. Would you like to give a tax deductible gift to Kankakee First Church? The IRS indicates the gift needs to be in the church office before it closes at noon, December 31, or it can be sent through the mail if it is postmarked by December 31, 2014. Contributions To look at your contributions, you can go to www.k3naz.org, click the Resource tab and then WebView. - Type in your email address - Do not enter a password - Click the red wording “Have it mailed to you” - In a few minutes later, a password will be sent to your email address - Use the new password to login for the first time - Then you can create your own familiar password These instructions will work if we have your correct email address. If you need more assistance, please call the church office at 815-933-1000. Congratulations Scott and Sara Christensen on the birth of their daughter Zoey Renee. She was born Wednesday, December 17. Generational Worship Sunday, January 4th, 2015. 4 year olds to 6th graders will worship with their families.
Wednesday Nights 2015 Starting January 7th, 2015 at 7:00pm, we will start a series called “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”, lessons from the best friends of the Bible.
Quizzing Our next meeting will be Wednesday, January 14th, 2015 at 7:00pm in the Quiz room.
Netflix VeggieTales Series. The faith-based children's series, VeggieTales," is back with a new Netflix Original series titled "VeggieTales In The House". This series is featuring a 75 new half-hour "VeggieTales" episodes for the next three years exclusively on Netflix.
Gurly/Burly Night Sunday, January 11 / 6:00-9:00pm
We’ll kick off our Sunday nights with some bro/girls time. Dinner followed by fun in host homes.

RECHARGE Winter Retreat 2015 January 30-February 1 in Augusta, MI. The K3First Student Ministry will retreat for the weekend to focus on strengthening relationships with our Creator and our community. The total cost for the trip is $165 which covers everything for the weekend.

We will gather at Kankakee First, be served lunch, snacks, hear an amazing speaker, win prizes, sing, laugh and be taught from God’s work. Our guest speaker, Sue Heimer, is a talented public speaker, a writer for Focus on the Family, a wife, a mom, and an amazing Christian woman who supports what she says by the word of God. The cost of this event will be $10.00. Start thinking about who you can invite. This event is being opened to the community. We want a LARGE host of women to attend, from every denomination, race, ethnicity and age. 6 hours of stress-free, uninterrupted, undisturbed time to laugh, cry, be inspired, be challenged, make new friends, eat, win prizes and just have time for yourself!
