Creating Time-Specific Access LevelsWe need to set up a “Time Spec” to limit what times cardholders can use their cards. That in turn with “Individual Readers” or “Reader Groups” will dictate which Readers can be used at which times within different “Access Levels”

Creating Multiple Access LevelsWhat we need to do for this exercise is create two different “Access Levels”.

Sample: One to allow access using the Front Lobby Door reader Monday through Friday 0700-1900.

Two a second “Access Level” to allow access Saturday only from 0700-1500 using only the warehouse door reader.

Next, select “Access Levels” under the “Setup” menu

We have named this level “Normal Working Hours and gave it a slight description.

Changing Cardholder AccessWhat we need to do for this exercise is change “Cardholder Access Levels”.

Sample: John Linear’s card will only be able to access the Front Lobby Door, Monday through Friday 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.

The card will also allow access to the Warehouse Door on Saturday from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm.
