Late assignments will be accepted for ½ credit (for 1 week) Late is anything not

turned in when collected by your teacher!

What is the Scientific Method?

an airplane design.3. NO SHARP POINTS on front of airplane.4. Toss (below the waist) it & see how it

flies.5. Change it slightly by folding a wing.6. Toss it again (below the waist).7. Analyze and Conclude (next slide)

Analyze and Conclude: Due at end of Period

(Answer on a separate piece of paper, 1/group)1. Observing: Describe and draw the

changes you made, and the differences in flight before you changed the wings and after.

2. Predicting: If you made a greater fold in the wing, would it fly differently? Explain in detail why or why not.

3. Conclusions: Can you change the design without a corresponding change in flight? Explain in detail why or why not?
