Warton is a small and delightful village on the banks of the River Ribble within easy
reach of the Fylde coast… but it’s probably best-known for its association with aircraft
maker BAE Warton and its airfield.
That means the village itself has good local amenities including village stores, schools
and sports facilities, while a larger choice of shopping and services can be found
around three miles away at Kirkham or Lytham. Preston and Blackpool are also within
easy reach.
It also has good transport links, with the motorway network (M55 and M6)
not far away and intercity rail services via Preston.
