The story so far…..• Students have already benefited from the developments to the house
system in the following ways:
• All year 11 students have had a 1-1 tutorial with their house leader focusing on their aspirations and current forecast grades
• House Councils have been launched, giving students a powerful voice in determining the ethos and direction of their house and school
• Students are benefiting from regular positive reinforcement for credits and good attendance in house assemblies
• House leaders have developed subject links, ensuring that vital information regarding class work, controlled assessments and exams is passed quickly to those students in need
• The first of many planned work scrutinies is currently taking place, ensuring that marking and assessment are in line with school procedure, but also to identify individuals and groups of students in need of extra assistance in reaching their targets

• It is really important that our students arrive on time to school and attend registration.
• Registration is a time when students receive important messages, instructions and tutors prepare them for the day ahead.
• It is also a time when the pastoral team and the house team can see students for extra help and support.
Time keeping
Being on time
Lateness to school can also amount to a lot of lost learning. Did you know…
