Course Selection Time-line Feb. 1-Feb. 5 Student Meetings Feb 8 – Feb 16 Computer LabFeb/March

Students meet with counselor by request with any questions or updates by April 1. August

Schedules mailed home. A letter will be mailed home with schedule change instructions. Drop/ add period is changing.

Requirements for Class of 2017 English 4.0 Credits

NOTE: May only be enrolled in a single English course in one school year. English courses must be taken sequentially.

Requirements for Class of 2019 and Beyond

Beginning with the Class of 2019, students are required to score proficient or advanced on the Keystone Exams for Algebra I, Biology, and Literature to complete the requirements for graduation.

Credits Needed for Grade Level Promotion

Credits needed to become a Sophomore:4.5

Credits needed to become a Junior:9.0

Credits needed to become a Senior:14.0

Summer School

A student must earn at least a 40% cumulative average in a course during the school year, to be eligible for summer school.

Students that receive a permanent incomplete in a course may not make it up in summer school.

A student may take a total of 2 courses in summer school.

Auditions for each group will be held in the spring and then students will put into specific ensembles based on ability and balanced instrumentation/ vocal part.
