Intervention
All school intervention: 3:10-3:40 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Friday
starting the week of September 30th. Please make arrangements so that your students
are participating in these interventions; not leaving early
This is not extra play time or a study hall This time is designed to meet specific targeted
needs of each student above and beyond what is done in the classroom
Our goal is to advance each student in his/her levels of success
Motivational Assemblies
At the end of each trimester, we will recognize Ramtastics Students.
These students who are recognized will have the chance to win prizes.
Birthday Celebrations
In order to be in compliance with the district and state wellness plans, we will recognize each student’s birthday on morning announcements and we will sing to them at lunch.
Teachers may honor your child within the classroom.
We will no longer be celebrating individual birthday’s in the classroom with food or trinkets.
Reminders Mornings on the playground- see details in the newsletter
Snacks- Only healthy ones, please
Dismissal- If you are making changes to your child’s transportation for the end of the day please make those changes by 3:30 p.m.
Absences/Tardies- We understand the circumstances, but please try to plan accordingly so that your children arrive to school on time. Also, we would appreciate your consideration when planning family vacations. When students miss extended periods of time or are late, this puts them at a disadvantage when they return . Classroom instruction time is unmatched and irreplaceable!
ParentLink- see details in the newsletter
Volunteering- There are many opportunities for you to help out here at Big T, contact Kathleen Hatanaka, our Volunteer Coordinator
Involvement- Helping your child at home by reading with them, practicing math facts, and getting organized are just a few ways to make the school and home connection.

Big T Night at an Eagles Game, Friday, October 25th- more details to come
