The Call to Worship
Minister: I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord!” Our feet have been standing within your
gates, O Jerusalem! (Psalm 122:1-2)
People: For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than to
dwell in the tents of wickedness. (Psalm 84:10)
Minister: For the sake of the house of the Lord our God; I will seek your good. (Psalm 122:9)
People: They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God.
Minister: O Lord, I love the habitation of your house, and the place where your glory dwells.
People: But the Lord is in His holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him. (Habakkuk 2:20)
Minister: Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my Rock, and my
Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14)
People: O sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things! I will sing of loyalty and of justice, to you, O Lord, I will
sing. (Psalm 98:1,4)

The Worship Through Music……………………….………………………………..……………………………………......Big Bethel Mass Choir
The Responsive Scripture………………………………………………………..………………………………...…………….………..Micah 6:1-8
Minister: 1 Hear what the LORD says: Rise, plead your case before the mountains, and let the hills hear your voice.
People: 2 Hear, you mountains, the controversy of the LORD, and you enduring foundations of the earth; for the LORD has a
controversy with his people, and he will contend with Israel.
Minister: 3 "O my people, what have I done to you? In what have I wearied you? Answer me!
People: 4 For I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and redeemed you from the house of slavery; and I sent before you
Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
Minister: 5 O my people, remember now what King Balak of Moab devised, what Balaam son of Beor answered him, and
what happened from Shittim to Gilgal, that you may know the saving acts of the LORD."
People: 6 "With what shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?
“JESUS SAVES’” 3
The Responsive Scripture (continued)…………..………………………………………………………………………..…………..Micah 6:1-8
Minister: 7 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my
firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?"
ALL: 8 He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love
kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
The Preface to the Decalogue- “ From All That Dwell”
From all that dwell below the skies, let the Creator’s praise arise; let the Redeemer’s name be sung, through every land by every tongue.
The Summary of the Decalogue
And Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and
first commandment. And the second is like it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and
the prophets.

Hearing God’s Word in the Sermon Since we forget 90% of what we hear, it has been suggested that note taking will double the percentage of our take home response. Why not try it
and see?
