• Workday uses employee assigned Security Roles so that job responsibilities are clear and effective.

• Security Roles determine what you can see and do in Workday.

• Security Roles are not job titles.• Assigned security roles are subject to change.

HR Support

HR Contact Manage many HR processes at the department level. These include hiring and onboarding business processes, job and compensation changes and terminations.  

Perform actions on members of assigned supervisory organizations such as create position, hire, change job, compensation change and termination.  

This role is intended to accommodate the decentralized HR or Payroll functions at an Adlocdepartmental level.

Perform Form I‐9 actions on members of assigned supervisory organization such as review and amend Form I‐9.

Recruiting Coordinator

Focus on recruiting business processes at the department level.  

Ability to initiate job requisitions and evaluate candidates for assigned organizations.

Talent Analyst Supports talent business processes at the department level.  Custom TAMUS security role. 

Performs HR functions, as support for a manager, related to performance management for assigned organizations.  

Initiation authority for certain Performance Management business processes.

Timekeeper Supports Employees and Managers by entering and submitting time on behalf of the Employee and approving timesheets on behalf of Managers. 

Perform timesheet management functions for assigned organizations.  

Examples include submitting, canceling, and deleting timesheets. Approval authority for timesheet business processes.

Manager Managers can see information about employees who report to them, and are involved in many HR, and payroll processes their employees need like hiring, time, time off and performance reviews.
