Jupiter GradesThis year we will be using the Jupiter Grades website. Kindergarten students do not receive grades the first marking period. We will be posting grades at the beginning of the 2nd quarter. At that time you can log in anytime to check your child's current grades, homework, missing assignments, test scores, and report cards. For now, we will be using it to inform you of upcoming special events, behavior, and school wide activities. It's completely secure, so no one else can see your personal information. Zoom Etiquette

E-learning Attendance Policy

Online attendance: Students Attendance will be taken during homeroom at the start of the day, by 8:50am. Students are expected to log into their classes daily and participate in zoom lessons. Parents of students that do not attend Zoom classes will be contacted by the teacher. Absences:  It is imperative that your child attends daily so that he or she doesn’t fall behind.

Uniform PolicyPPCS has a mandatory uniform policy. Students are required to

wear their uniform while they are on Zoom with their teacher.

SCIENCE: Mrs. D-E-Students will have to sign a safety contract, more information to follow.

Home CareFor School Material

To help your child during this time we think its important to have a dedicated space for school related materials. Some suggestions for easy storage are plastic bins from Dollar Tree or a plastic drawer system found at Target and Walmart.

Tentative Material Pick Up Date is: August 24th

I-ReadyRequired as part of the school- wide reading/math plan for instruction.Students are required to completed 30 minutes in both math and reading every week.

Supplies

Supply list can be found on the Pines Charter website under “East Campus”.Supplies are for your student only and will not be community supplies.

• 30 Volunteer hours required per family• Families will receive 3 volunteer hours

for attending open house • 3 hours for completing the following:

online First Day Packet online acknowledgements, turning in Code of Conduct and Emergency Contact forms.
