• Move up the Ranks for special privileges• Field trips if enough points are earned by deadlines• Individual Prizes• Phone calls home, certificates, praise, etc.
• Fun Friday– If earned students get to do fun activities every Friday for
the last half hour of the day.
Consequences
•Every child has a right to learn and feel safe.•I have a right and responsibility to teach and keep.•No one has the right to take away anyone else’s rights.
Consequences for taking away another’s rights:
1st offense: Warning2nd offense: Seat Change and loss of a Merit3rd offense: Time Out and loss of 2 more Merits4th offense: Referral and loss of all Merits for the day.

Homework & Grading Policies
• Grading Scale– We have switched from a 3 point to a 4 point grading
system this year.– 90-100% = 4 (A)– 75-89% = 3 (B/C)– 55-74 % = 2 (C/D)– 0-54% = 1 (F)
• Homework Policy– Due to busy and varied schedules all Homework is due
on Fridays. It will not be marked late until Friday. – I will not accept excuses like “I went to Grandma’s or
had Soccer Practice, that is why I give the whole week.– Reading Logs: Students must read without
interruption for 20 minutes or more per day, 5 days a week.
Testing

Math Test every week– Other Subjects will vary depending on
scheduling, whether we’re ready for a test, etc.
