Childcare vouchers – if you are a working parents there is no tax or National Insurance on childcare vouchers. This saves the average family about £1,000 per year or double if both parents claim.

Cyclescheme – Tax and National Insurance free bikes for work through the University and backed by a Government Initiative.

Car leasing – This scheme offers staff the opportunity to acquire a new, energy-efficient ‘green’ vehicle at a low cost through salary exchange.

Local extra – Currently being developed, working with the Guild of Students as a partner the University is hoping to negotiate discounts at a variety of local stores. In order to obtain the discounts you will need to show your University Card alongside your Staff Association membership card. Discounts on campus – On joining the Staff Association you will be given a booklet of coupons to use across the University with complimentary or discounted items such as a free muffin with any hot drink @ cafe Reed and a free small hot drink upon purchase of a Business School breakfast or bacon ciabatta at La Touche.
