20th Century Topics is my favorite class Hobbies include: reading, traveling, trying

new restaurants, going to plays and museums, hiking and watching Glee

Travel includes 40 U.S. states and 17 countries and I’m always looking for the next place to go!

I love to recommend and have books recommended to me.

some, new for others). Thurs: summer assignment is due. You should be reading

The Guns of August by Barbara Tuchman up to the Outbreak section, chapters 1-5.

Thurs: 3 page summary/personal reaction is due. Include: what you have learned, specific historical pieces of information, what surprised you or what you found interesting and questions you still have.

Please bring your book to class that day as well. Fri: participation/practice essay on The Guns of August.

Please don’t panic now (or ever), I will give more details Wed and Thurs.
