Welcome, Megan Megan Tandar (9) gave such anincredible performance at her recent juryin the Preparatory Division that the GMSfaculty unanimously concluded that sheshould be immediately accepted into theConservatory, the full scholarshipdivision of GMS. She says:
"I like the piece Sonata K570 by Mozart.Mozart is my favorite composer. I hateChopin etudes. They will be the end ofme. Some of my interests aregeography, history, classical music, andbooks. My favourite book is The Giver. Inmy spare time, when I am NOTpracticing, I like to play strategy gameson the computer and robotics."
Adult Chess Class Our children's chess class has beensuch a success that we have decided toadd a chess class for adults to our classofferings. Taught by Dr. Koji Attwood,this class will begin on February 23.
