-Play with Play Doh-Practice using utensils-Build with blocks-Play hopscotch-Play catch -Visit a local playground!
Academic Skills
-Play board games and take turns who goes first-Encourage conversations with adults-Practice waiting-Play with other children
-Clean up independently after playing or eating-Praise child for effort and curiosity about learning and trying new things
-Read to your child-Practice estimating and counting objects-Notice letters in his/her name on signs-Practice recognizing and writing name

Volunteers, Field Trips & Special Events
A Safe Visitor Background Check is required for the following school events:
● To chaperone a field trip● To volunteer in class● To help with a class party● To have lunch with your child● To attend a special event in your
child’s class (for example, a writing celebration) during school hours
