W/T 1:45-3:05• Email is the best way to communicate w/ me &

CHECK YOUR EMAIL• After school is hit or miss and the latest is 3:45• If you are absent you need to email me/ see me the

next day you are back even if you don’t have class with me.

Classroom Stuff• Please clean up after yourself• You are not suppose to eat in lab. If you are starving you can eat

something discreet, thus please leave smelly full lunches outside of the room.

• No hats, sunglasses, shorty shorts/skirts, mid drifts, or barely covered private areas.

• The student area is for your use, please let me know if something is needed/missing.

• Please do not grab things off my desk for your use, I have provided you with a student area

• Cell phones, other electronics, recreational books should not be visible or in your lap, etc unless you have been given permission. I will take items away.

the time/ afraid to ask?• Write it on a piece of paper, put it in the bin and

Breaks• There are no official breaks at JCP. • If you need to use the bathroom:

– Ask during a transition (passing out papers, changing the activity).

– Please refrain from asking/leaving in the middle of an activity/lecture as this is disruptive.

– Emergency?…go Please respect my trust in you otherwise your bathroom time will be revoked

Homework• Is worth 0% of your grade!• The purpose of homework is to help you learn the

material and practice the skills necessary to succeed in the class. It is important that you make the homework useful for you and not simply focus on finishing it.

• BUT the HW COULD be a part of the science practices OR Content Objective. In that case you would receive a grade for it.
