**Helmets and Safety BeltsAccording to new regulations at SNIEC, all exhibitors and contractors must wear a helmet on-site during move-in and move-out (indoor & outdoor). In addition, all personnel must wear safety belts when working on construction in a lift. Security guards at SNIEC will refuse entry onto the premises to anyone who is not wearing a helmet. All helmets and safety belts must be self-provided.

Notice
Booth installation and any changes must be made by professional staff with matched constructing material. Double-side booth is made with only two panels, and the other two sides are open.

Special Notice to Shell Scheme Exhibitor1. Ownership of Furniture: Grand events have the ownership of all furniture. There will
be additional charge on furniture damaged or lost. 2. Attachment to Shell Scheme: No alteration or attachment to a shell scheme structure shall be made without the
approval of the official stand contractor. This includes the painting or wallpapering of its walls. No nailing or drilling will be allowed;
The exhibitors shall deposit RMB 200 for pasting poster on panel without permission, and the deposit will be returned after the exhibitor clean the panel. The organizer suggests using KT posters instead.
No heavy hanging on the panel. There will be aluminum pillar in the shell scheme booth. 3. Power Socket: The power sockets will only be used for displaying exhibits. The
exhibitors shall not use the power socket for its own lighting facilities. 4. Electricity, Water and Gas: Exhibitor shall apply additional electricity, water and gas
from the official general contractor. 5. Electrical Equipment: Exhibitors are required to mark electrical equipment on the
Form of Stand Layout. The official contractor will install at their discretion if they do not receive this stand layout before move in. On-site requests for re-positioning will be subject to a relocation charge of 50% on the rental price.
6. Water and Air Compressor: exhibitors must bring their own equipment with the appropriate equipment, and ideally to bring their own voltage stabilizer to protect the sensitive equipment.
7. Dissatisfaction of Installed Rented Furniture: please contact official contractor before show opening. Otherwise it will be considered accepted. Exhibitors are not allowed to install lamps or other facilities by themselves, which if necessary has to be done by the general contractor after application and payment by the exhibitor.
8. Order ManagementExtra order: All rental forms must be returned before the deadline of May 19,2017. The extra order will be confirmed by the formal invoice from the general contractor. If the exhibitors do not receive the invoice, the extra order will be seen as
an invalid order.Delayed orders: 50% surcharge will be imposed for orders received after May 19, 2017. Onsite Orders: 100% surcharge for relocation of items onsite after June 13, 2017Order Cancellation and Modification: All confirmed orders cannot be changed or

canceled. There will be no refund for cancelling order or order modification.

SECTION 4 - RAW SPACE EXHIBITORS
Raw Space exhibitors have contracted for open or base booth space that is larger than 36 square meters. Raw space exhibitors must submit their booth contractor’s information and their booth plans for approval. All forms and further information may be found in this section. Additional furnishings and services may be ordered from forms in Section 6. Shipping and customs information may be found in Section 7.

Guidelines for Exhibitor Appointed Contractors

Notice to Exhibitor Appointed ContractorsThe exhibitors can appoint official general contractor or their own contractor to design their special booth. Prior to design the special booth, please read the rules and regulations of special booth management below carefully1. Exhibitor appointed contractor shall have legal qualification, engineering qualification,
human capital and materials to perform the construction activities during the show. The contractor should finish all work before the deadline.
2. All design proposals must be approved of by the official general contactor. Proposals should conform with all statutory requirements. Electronic drawings should be e-mailed to the official general contractor before May 19, 2017.
3. Height Restrictions: The maximum height of construction is 4.4m for one-story structure booths. The maximum height of construction is 8m for double storied booths. Exhibitors who build double-storied booth or one-story booths exceeding 4.4m should submit the booth layout to “HAN HAI” for approval from the local security and safety authorities, and pay additional fee accordingly.
4. Exhibitor appointed contractor shall submit all documents relevant to special booth construction to the official general contractor at [email protected] before May 19, 2017. The subject of E-mail should be named by “Booth number + Exhibitor name + Date”. The following documents must accompany the application:

FORM13: Safety Commitment with Chapter5. Fire Safety: According to the Fire Department, all booth structures must use flame
retardant materials; wood structure booth must use the fire retardant coating. Prohibited is the use of flammable materials; stretched cloth, elastic cloth, top cap on booth. Lighting to booth must be equipped with fire extinguishers. Electric machines and electricity must be turned off before show closure every day. If not, ensure the safety pavilion will cut off the power supply. 24 hours of electricity should be ordered in advance.
Additional Payment for Raw Space Exhibitor1. Deposit: Raw space exhibitors should pay a deposit fee to the official contractor-
Grand Events to ensure that you will clear out your exhibition space at move-out. Please pay deposit RMB10,000 for area equal or under 100 sqm. Please pay deposit RMB 20,000 for area over 100 sqm. After the booth is dismantled and cleared out, the Hall staff will check the floor and if it is intact and clean, upon full dismantling of booth structure and no damage done to hall facility, Grand Events will return RMB10,000 or RMB 20,000 deposit within one month (30 days) after the exhibition ended.
2. Management Fee: RMB 30/sqm. The exhibitor shall fill in Form 12 regarding management fee of RMB 30/sqm, and send back to official general contractor.
3. Construction Certificate: RMB 30/each. Exhibitor appointed contractor for special booth should apply Construction Certificate in the Certification Center at SINEC South Square within 15 days before the exhibition. The raw space exhibitor shall apply for construction certificate, including: 1) the real-name authentication form for erection contractor ( Download address:
http://180.153.108.138/shexpocenter/download/.doc ) 2) Construction Certificate: RMB 30.00/badge. (Certification Center at SINEC South Square)
4. Transport Pass and Parking Rate:Vehicles must pay a fee and deposit in order to access the loading bay at SNIEC. A “Transport Pass” may be obtained at the SNIEC Certification Centre at SINEC South Square, or P7. Raw space exhibitor shall take the receipt of venue management fee, and receipt of deposits to apply for the transport pass; Shell scheme exhibitor shall take the exhibitor badge to apply for the transport pass. The fee is RMB 30 per entry and is good for 90 minutes. A deposit of RMB 300 will be charged for all vehicles entering the venue during move in and move out. The deposit will be refunded after showing the “Transport Pass” as well as the deposit receipt after the timely completion of the loading and unloading. Any loss or damage of the “Transport Pass” will be fined at RMB 50 per pass. The overtime charge will be levied at RMB 100 per vehicle per every half hour (The overtime charge for less than half an hour is also RMB 100). Parking rate is RMB 20/hour.

5. Overtime Rate: Constructor should have reasonable arrangements to complete the booth on time. If the exhibitors need to construct overtime, please inform the venue prior to 14:00 on that day. Overtime rate will be RMB 1,500/hour before 22:00 and RMB 2,800/hour from 22:00 to 8:00 the next day. The venue will not accept overtime application for less than one hour.
6. Furniture Rental Due Time and Extra Charge: Exhibitors should finish the order rental form to the official contractor before the deadline of May 19, 2017. After deadline, 50% surcharge will be imposed.
7. Audit fee: If the one layer booth height is over 4.4M, the exhibitor is advised to send the booth drawings to the official engineer HAH to check again. The audit price is RMB 25/sqm for one storey booth, and RMB 50/sqm for two storied booth.

All items are for rental only, items must be kept intact. About water and gas, exhibitors are required to be responsible for connecting to a
regulator. Exhibitors who have particularly sensitive equipment, it is recommended to install
the regulator to control voltage. Exhibitors who need special temperature and pressure on the water must provide
their own device. Any dissatisfaction with the rental furniture and fittings must be noticed one day
before the exhibition, otherwise it is regarded as in good condition. Exhibitors are not allowed to have unauthorized installation of spotlights and

Safety Commitment of the Erection Contractor
The Contractor shall strictly abide by the laws, rules and regulations on work safety, fire safety and labor protection promulgated by the state and Shanghai municipal governments and relevant administrative departments.
The Contractor is responsible for educating its on-site workers on work safety, ensuring that the workers carry all relevant work permits, and that all its workers work with their helmets on and, when working at heights above 2 meters, wear safety harnesses. The Contractor shall urge its transport staff to work according to all relevant safety regulations, and take protective measures to ensure work safety and fire safety according to regulations. The Contractor shall designate a person, who shall be readily recognizable at the site, to take charge of on-site day-to-day safety supervision of the facilities and equipment in and out of the exhibition hall, and facilitate the checking and supervision of the SNIEC’s staff on the improvement work.
During work execution, the Contractor shall strictly follow the SNIEC’s rules on work safety and fire safety and shall bear all responsibilities and consequences in result of the failure of the stipulated rules.
For work at height, the worker shall be a holder of a work-at-height permit or other relevant qualifications and take all appropriate safety measures. Should there be any accident, the Contractor shall bear all responsibilities, liabilities and consequences.
During work execution, the Contractor shall keep the constructions, structures, facilities, equipment, and fittings in the exhibition hall clean and well protected. Should there be any damage or pollution, compensation shall be made according to the SNIEC’s “Damage Price List of Constructions and Structures” and “Damage Price List of Facilities, Equipment, and Fittings”.

FORM 13 / SAFETY COMMITMENT OF THE ERECTION CONTRACTOR (Compulsory (if using non-official booth contractor))
Fire and explosion prevention rules shall be strictly observed. Smoking is prohibited in the exhibition hall. No explosives and inflammables (such as paint, banana oil, dimethyl benzene, etc) may be taken into the exhibition hall. No fire, electric stove and welding equipment may be used within the exhibition hall.
Materials must not be stored at the fire exits. All fire exits, safety passages, and common walkways must be kept free of any obstructions.
During work execution, no action shall be carried out that may affect the structures and safety of the building.
Workers must not undertake other transport tasks that are irrelevant to the designated exhibition, or solicit work from other concurring exhibitions.
The Contractor must not subcontract the work of exhibition booth erection or dismantling to individual persons, other private entities or entities that do not carry legal person status and relevant certifications.
The Contractor must not use the materials and facilities for improvement that have been expressly banned by national laws and regulations. Should there be any consequences due to the Contractor’s failure to follow the aforementioned rules, the Contractor will be liable for punishment from the SNIEC, the sponsors of the exhibition, and the security staff of the exhibition hall, and bear all possible resulting economic and legal liabilities.
Any violations, the Contractor shall accept the responsibility for the Center, the Organizer and the venue.

Special Notice
Dear Exhibitor and Contractor:In order to have a good conduction of the exhibition avoiding any damage and losses, here are some rules for notice:1. All the design drawings must be checked by SNIEC and HAH. together with the
Important Notice of Special Booth Drawings, otherwise booth construction will not be allowed.
2. Once the drawings are approved, please build the booth strictly according o the drawings. Any unauthorized changes are not allowed.
3. To choose the contractor that has qualifications and good reputation and obeys the rules.
4. For onsite safety, we will have strucuture engineers to patrol the exhibition hall. If they find any safety problems, modification notices will be issued. the resulting consequences shall be born by the contractor.
5. All documents including but not limited to “the Rectification Notice", "Letter of Commitment on Onsite Construction Safety", "Confirmation of Responsibility", signed by the booth contractor are understood to have been authorized by the Exhibitor, unless the Exhibitor informs the Hall Management otherwise in advance.

Atta 1: Management Rules of Raw Space Booth
For exhibition safety, all constructors follow management rules, in order to participate in the design, construction, and demolition of the exhibition booth to conduct a unified audit and supervision.
The construction procedures before move-in:1. For booth over 4.5M high (including 4.5M), the design drawings must be checked with
HAH. For booth less than 4.4M high the drawings need to be checked with the general contractor. Needed drawings including: Booth perspective drawing (one front-side & two sides) Floor plan Structural drawing with dimensions Detailed booth materials checklist Facilities location Side elevation Booth material detail list related specifications Structure diagram: all drawings shall be made to indicate the size of the beam and
column axis and the size of all the materials used in the structure.2. A copy of all the documents, special work permit for the record sent to the contractor.3. All the contractors must pay for the deposit, which will be returned at the end of the
Show if no violations occur during the Show.
Regulations on Construction of Raw Space Both:1. All raw space booths must be made of material that is difficult to burn or flame
retardant.2. Material strength must meet the requirements of the load, overall stability and local
stability of the booth structures.3. The construction unit to build the booth is not allowed to be beyond the booth area.4. For safety the structure of the glass decoration should have eye-catching logo.5. Ensure the sound column diameter is 100mm and the bottom welded firmly. 6. Main body not less than 120mm, wall of over 6m length requires cross beam to
support7. For any booth with a stage over 1 to 2 meters high or with double or multi-story
structure the contractor must provide detailed structural drawings approved and singed by a chartered architect and build the booth with skilled workers.
8. Double or multi-story booth must have fire extinguishers, one per 36 sqm.9. Adjacent back walls must be properly decorated.10. Full sealed ceiling is not allowed. No more than 50% sealing is allowed.

11. Nail, glue, painting, drilling, posters are not allowed on the ground or the walls of the hall.
12. Fire fighting facilities, electrical equipment, emergency exits or other passages are not allowed to block.
13. Do not use flammable and explosive materials, and painting, paint, etc.14. In aerial work, safe lifting and the operation platform and safety belt are required.15. During the Show time, contractor staff should be on site to deal with problems in time.16. Contractors who have received Booth Rectification Notice must inform the Hall
management of the rectification work..17. The contractor should have a person on site responsible for fire, anti-theft and other
security work.18. Don’t use power saws, electricity, gas welding and other fire operation.19. Materials used must meet the requirements of the national environmental protection

Outdoor space building regulations:1. Use of the outdoor space must be confirmed by the Hall Management in advance.2. Provide booth structure drawings and qualification certificate3. Make allowance for unsafe factors due to wind, rain and other natural phenomena4. Do not build beyond the parameters of the booth (eg. name, logo, light box and
posters)5. Any outdoor electrical appliances used must be rainproof with necessary leakage

NAB Show Shanghai has partnered with Kuehne+Nagel Ltd as our official freight forwarder, customs broker and shipping vendor. Kuehne+Nagel is solely responsible for handling all international shipments in and out of the air and sea ports and in and out of the Shanghai New International Expo Cneter (SNIEC).
You may hire Kuehe+Nagel to ship your freight by air or sea, or you can select another company. However, as the official freight forwarder for NAB Show Shanghai is the ONLY company that may move your freight in and out of SNIEC. For details rules and regulations for shipping, please refer to “Freight and Material Handling” in Section 8. The following pages provide deadlines, costs and shipping instructions for shipping goods to NAB Show Shanghai

PACKING / FUMIGATION
WOOD PACKAGING MATERIALS (also pallets) have to be FUMIGATED with methyl bromide or Heat treatment of minimum wood core temperature of 56° C/133° F for a minimum of 30 minutes. All wooden material has to be marked legible and permanent. The mark must be approved by IPPC (International Plant Protection Convention). Original fumigation certificate issued by government authorities at origin must be attached to the Original Bill of Lading or Master Airway Bill. Failure to comply will result to problems with the customs clearance, delays at the delivery and high fines.
Temporary exported items by carnet ATA and permanent exported items have to be packed and shipped completely separately otherwise the cargo will be stucked at customs.
Please ensure your equipment is packed in strong, waterproof packing cases, which lends itself to being re-packed after the exhibition. Please bear in mind that your exhibits will be in transit for long periods both to and from the exhibition, and that

cartons are not suitable to withstand the constant handling that takes place during transhipment. Outdoor-/Open air handling is sometimes inevitable, even if it rains.

PROHIBITED GOODS
Due to the customs restrictions please be so kind to not send any of the following items:
Do not include food products, alcoholic beverages, arms, explosives, fireworks, tobacco, pharmaceuticals or products made from animal parts or of endangered species materials in your shipment. Please contact KN for further information and clarification whether goods can be imported or not.
The above-mentioned list is not exhaustive and subject to change at any time by operation of law. In all instances, the approval of import permits/licenses is solely at the discretion of the relevant government authorities at the destination country and we cannot be held responsible for their refusal to grant such permits, even if the goods have already arrived at the destination port.
CENSORSHIP - CATALOGUES & PUBLICITY MATERIALS
The Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade in China stipulates that all advertising materials (like printed matters and giveaway items) and technical information materials in all media shall be allowed display or use at the exhibition only after customs has inspected and approved the censorship clearance.

Exhibitors are requested to submit samples of literatures (2 copies each) and souvenirs (2 each) to Kuehne & Nagel Shanghai with a List of Exhibits (LOE). All these materials will be handed over to the Chinese Customs for inspection in advance. These materials should arrive Kuehne & Nagel Shanghai Office by courier no later than 19 May 2017. In addition, exhibitors are advised that brochures, giveaways and souvenirs are subject to import duties as assessed by the Chinese Customs which must be payable on entry.
HAND CARRIED EXHIBITS
Exhibitors are strongly advised not to hand-carry goods for this exhibition as it could be detained by the Chinese Customs at the airport, Exhibitors should immediately hand over the detention receipt and the duly filled List of Exhibits to our staff at the fairground to arrange for import of the goods from the airport. These exhibits will then have to be returned as a shipment. For hand-carried item arrival Shanghai airport terminal, our handling charges will be RMB 4500.00 / consignment / exhibitor.
EXHIBITION CLOSING PROCEDURE
Prior to the move-out days, exhibitors will be given a 'Disposal Instruction Form' to fill in based on the List of Exhibits (LOE) given at time of entry of goods into China. Exhibitors are required to advise Kuehne & Nagel if the goods will be re-exported, sold or disposed, as applicable.
Please fill out and return the Instructions for Disposal of Exhibits together with the List of Exhibits to us at least 3 hours before closing. If exhibitors fail to give explicit instructions no Customs formalities can be carried out, and their exhibits will be left to Customs disposal, all charges being for the exhibitors’ account.
SOLD EXHIBITS
All sold exhibits have to be removed to a customs bonded warehouse until the necessary domestic customs formalities have been finalised. From the time your exhibits are placed in bonded storage Kuehne & Nagel Shanghai will not be able to assist in the handover protocol of sold commodities. Your buyer will be responsible for the presentation of the necessary documents to customs so that temporary status can be converted to a permanent customs entry.
There are only a small number of Chinese companies that are granted with import/export licences, therefore it is advisable that exhibitors check whether or not their potential buyer is allowed to trade with them directly. If not, the Chinese buyer must use a licensed broker to be his trading agent. Your buyer should be aware of the import requirements, which are usually seen as follows, (however they may check with the exhibition centre customs to clarify correct procedures on-site).
o Buyer’s interest in foreign products.o Sample testing and technical data study.o Price acceptable.o Application of import permit.

o Acceptance of contract terms and approval number.o Payment and delivery terms.
Exhibitors are encouraged to send their product profile & price list to potential buyers in advance of show date to give the Chinese companies enough lead time to prepare the necessary import paperwork. A three month bonded storage period, pending sale, is the maximum term permitted before customs insist any remaining items are re-exported out of China. The costs involved with the re-exportation are fully on exhibitor’s responsibility and account.
INSURANCE & LIABILITY
Our tariff is computed on the basis of volume or weight and has no correlation with the value of exhibits, it follows that the costs of insurance is not included in our charges. It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to arrange a full transit Insurance Policy covering transport to the exhibition, during the exhibition, and return of exhibits to domicile, including the period the exhibits are handled on-site by us or any subcontractor. Insurance shall include a waiver of subrogation against Kuehne & Nagel Limited and its agents and/or subcontractors.
KN Expo Service can offer an insurance coverage on your behalf and cost of the exhibitor upon written request.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
All our services are due for immediate payment unless you have engaged the services of our overseas offices or agents, in which case you will be invoiced by them directly. SECTION 9 - RULES AND REGULATIONS
All exhibitors must comply with these rules and regulations. Failure to observe these rules and regulations may lead to the closure/removal of any exhibits that do not comply.
Admission and IdentificationNAB Show Shanghai is a trade-only exhibition for the digital media and entertainment industry. Paid attendees are permitted to attend on December 7-9,2016. All exhibitors and attendees must be over the age of 18 and have your photo ID to pick up your badge.
Attendee InvitationsExhibitors may click the official website ( www.nabshowshanghai.com ) and login with username and password provided by the Committee on Exhibitor Service page. Then exhibitors click ‘Audience Invitation’, typing down the email of audience, and finally organizer will send invitation letter to the customer.
Age RestrictionsAll exhibitors and attendees must be over the age of 18.
Authority of PremisesIn the event of any problems or disputes on-site, the decision of the show organizers, being the lessee of the premises, will be final.
Booth Management All booths must be carpeted. In the case of advertising structures directly facing adjoining booths, a minimum
distance of 2 meters must be kept to the edge of the booth concerned. The booth will only be used for presenting products. The displayed products must be
within the scope of the displayed product categories in the “exhibitor contract”. If the displayed products are completely outside the scope of the show theme, and it may create negative impact of the show, the organizers keep the right to cancel exhibitor’s qualification to attend the show, and the relevant fees will be non-refundable.
No punch, drilling, painting, and other related construction work which may damage or destroy the shape of the standard booth without written permission from the organizing committee. If there is any damage or destroy, the exhibitor shall compensate accordingly.
Cash & Carry Policy Those over the counter sales(eg. Cash, check or credit card) are not permitted. Only bona fide business orders for future delivery may be taken.
Catering and Food ServiceAll arrangements for food and beverage service must be made with the caterer at the Shanghai International Convention Center. No alcoholic beverages may be served in the exhibit area without prior permission of Show Management.
CleaningThe show organizer will arrange for aisle cleaning in the exhibition halls prior to the opening of the exhibition and daily thereafter. It is the responsibility of the exhibitors to maintain their booths in a tidy condition at all times.

Customs ClearanceAll exhibits and product entering the exhibition halls must first be cleared through customs.Additional rules can be found in the shipping guidelines of the exhibitor manual. Exhibitors should contact Kuehne + Nagel, the official freight forwarder of NAB Show Shanghai, with any questions.
Damage and Deposit Exhibitors occupying shell scheme stands are also responsible for the cost of repairing any damage to the contractor’s stand structure, floor covering, light fitting and any other hired items. The cost of repairing and replacing for any damages will be assessed by the official stand contractor, and charged to the exhibitor concerned.
Drones/Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAV)Drones/Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (aka UAVs) are permitted; however the following guidelines must be strictly adhered to: Per the Exhibit Space Contract, exhibitors must carry adequate personal and property
damage liability insurance to indemnify and hold harmless NAB Show Shanghai and SNIEC. Certificates of insurance must be furnished to the TCDIC operations team.
The maximum height for flight is 5.5 Meter for raw space island exhibits and 2.5 M for all other exhibits. (An island is defined as 36 sqm or larger exposed to aisles on all four sides).
Exhibitors must submit their booth plan to official booth contractor ([email protected]) and TCDIC operations team ([email protected])
UAVs are only allowed to fly in defined exhibit booth space in the exhibit space with protective safety measures.
Public must be protected from UAVs with the use of netting, plastic or another approved safety feature in any area flown.
May not be flown in lobbies, restaurants or other common areas. Must weigh less than 20 KG.
Dismantling Every exhibit must be fully staffed and operational during the entire show. If an exhibitor is observed by show organizers tearing down or in any way packing their booth prior to the official closing time. Exhibitor's displays must not be dismantled or packed in preparation for removal prior to the official closing time. The dismantling of displays begins at the official closing time, and continues to the day and time outlined in the Exhibitor Manual. At this time, all exhibitor displays or materials left in the booths without instructions will be packed, shipped or discarded at the discretion of show organizers, and all charges will be applied to the exhibitor.
Electrical Suppliers and Installation 1. Cable box of the standard booth must be put into cable trench; Cable box of the specia
l booth must be put into cable trench or inside the booth. It is strictly prohibit putting cable box obviously in the public area such as the passage or outside of the booth.
2. Only qualified electrical wires such as cable wires can be used. It is strictly prohibit using twisted-pair and aluminium-core wires.

3. Electrical wires should be connected fast and the insulation safeguard should be done by porcelain or plastic junctions.
4. There must be a frame board to protect the electrical wire when it is across through the passage.
5. It is strictly prohibit using the exposed light. Neon light should be fixed above 2.5 metres height.
6. The metal outside and the frame of all the electrical equipments or the objects with electrical must be connected with the earthing safely.
7. It is strictly prohibit putting the tinder near cable box.8. All the electrical operators must have valid electrical operation certificates. 9. Electrical installation should be carried out according to the “Electrical Low-volt Rules
& Regulations”.10. The exhibitors should check the safety of the electrical circle or the gas pipe connectio
n before their applications for power or compressed air supply. When SINEC receives the application for switch power/compressed air on from the organizer, venue will recheck the safety again with the organizer and the exhibitors. Then we will switch power/compressed air on for the eligible exhibitors in 2 hours.
Exhibit Space ContractExhibitor must abide by the rules set forth in the 2017 NAB Show Shanghai Exhibit Space Contract
Exhibit AttireThe show organizer reserves the right to make determinations on appropriate exhibitor/presenter attire. If for any reason an exhibit and/or its contents are deemed objectionable, the exhibitor may be asked to alter the attire of its employees, exhibit staff and/or models. If necessary, the exhibitor may be asked to remove the individual(s) in question at the exhibitor's sole expense. Exhibitors with questions about compliance with these guidelines should consult with the show organizer in advance of the show.
Fire Precautions A clear space of at least 50cm shall be maintained between all lightings and the inflam
mables or the adornments. Exhibitors are required to comply with rules and regulations by local fire & security go
vernment sector, emergency measures by the organizer as well as the evacuation plan and any other fire regulations.
Any exhibitor, contractor or user should not make changes, alternations and adjustments towards passages, exits, emergency lightings, fire extinguishers, alarms, fire sprinkler devices and other safety devices.
Smoking is forbidden in the venue. The organizer reserves the rights to place fine towa

rds those who smoke and claim compensation on any damages caused. Smoking and operation with fire are prohibited in the exhibition halls during the move-i
n & set-up, move-out and show period. The operations using electric saw/electric planer/electrogas welding /electricity gas cut
ting are required to be done generally in outdoor area during the set-up period. Those which must be operated in the exhibition halls should pay higher attentions to fire preventions and clean up the wastes timely. All the operations of electric welding and cutting should be approved in advance. Fire is strictly prohibited and good ventilation is a must for painting and spaying operations. A fire-forbidden area should be established. All the fire protection measures should be secured.
The flammable sundry should be cleared timely, while all the flammable packaging materials are not allowed to be stored in exhibition halls.
Keep clear of all the exits. No Occupying the exits. No covering of the exit signs.
Freight/Material HandlingInternational shipments must be consigned to the official freight forwarder, Kuehne + Nagel to coordinate the move-in of your exhibits. Exhibitors must ensure that delivery, loading and unloading of goods is carried out
onlyat the designated loading and unloading area. Staff will be at this area to supervise and direct the vehicles.
Exhibits arriving on site without a pre-appointed freight forwarder will be referred to the show organizer’s appointed official freight forwarder. All costs incurred will be borne by the exhibitor concerned.
Exhibits requiring mechanical assistance must be handed over to the official freightforwarders at the loading and unloading bay.
Exhibitors using their own freight forwarder up to these areas are requested to submit the details to Kuehne + Nagel to facilitate coordination. No other freight forwarders or exhibitors are allowed to use any of their own lifting equipment on-site (i.e., hydraulic car).
To avoid congestion in hall, only hand-carried items which can be taken out of their cases without any risk or damage to the floors and halls are allowed to be unpacked inside the exhibition premises. Major items should be unpacked away from the exhibition premises and then brought into the stand for positioning. Arrangements should be made with the on-site handling agent.
The exhibitor must be present at his own stand to accept delivery of freight. The show organizer will not accept any delivery on behalf of the exhibitor, nor can they be responsible for failure in delivery.
Vehicles must pay a fee and deposit in order to access the loading bay at SNIEC. A “Transport Pass” may be obtained at the SNIEC Certification Centre #1 near Hall W1,

or P7. Raw space exhibitor shall take the receipt of venue management fee, and receipt of deposits to apply for the transport pass; Shell scheme exhibitor shall take the exhibitor badge to apply for the transport pass. The fee is RMB 30 per entry and is good for 90 minutes. A deposit of RMB 300 will be charged for all vehicles entering the venue during move in and move out. The deposit will be refunded after showing the “Transport Pass” as well as the deposit receipt after the timely completion of the loading and unloading. Any loss or damage of the “Transport Pass” will be fined at RMB 50 per pass. The overtime charge will be levied at RMB 100 per vehicle per every half hour (The overtime charge for less than half an hour is also RMB 100). Parking rate is RMB 20/hour.
Drivers must follow instructions from security and drivers must not leave their vehicle unattended. Once the loading and unloading is finished, the vehicle shall be driven out immediately or the deposit will be deducted as a penalty.
Departure Permission: when the show is over, exhibitors have to complete the form on which exhibits and tools taken out of the venue are listed. Later the form is handed in to the organizer for sealing, changed for departure permission.
Good Neighbor PolicyNAB Show Shanghai has a Good Neighbor Policy for booth demonstrations. All audio and video should be appropriate for a general audience. In the event of a complaint from any person on a booth's content, the show organizer will investigate and determine if the content is offensive or inappropriate. If content is determined to be offensive, the exhibitor must cease use of such content. If the exhibitor refuses, or if another complaint is filed, the show organizer reserves the right to shut off power to the booth until the exhibitor ceases use of the content. Repeated violations of this policy can result in expulsion from NAB Show Shanghai.When planning booth events and demonstrations exhibitors are required to ensure traffic flow can continue on all sides of their booth at all times. Please be considerate to exhibitingneighbors when positioning hanging signs and exhibit structures that could impede or obstruct lines of sight to them.
Hazardous MaterialsThe following hazardous and dangerous materials are forbidden: Firearms, and mechanical appliances used for army or police; Explosive objects; Combustible or detonable objects; Toxic or harmful objects; Corrosive objects; Radioactive objects; Controlled cutters;

Lighters. Other items harmful to other people and forbidden for carry-on as per National Laws
and Codes.
Installation Target move-in dates are published in the online Exhibitor Service Manual. No exhibits should arrive at the facility earlier than the date scheduled. Exhibits must be fully set up at the designated time stated by show organizers. After that time, any unattended exhibits will be set up at the discretion of show organizers, and all expenses will be charged to the exhibitor.
Intellectual Property Rights/Music LicensingExhibitor represents and warrants that it shall comply with all Intellectual Property Rights(IPR) and copyright restrictions applicable to Exhibitors, Exhibitor shall indemnify and defend show organizers for its failure to perform the foregoing.
Liability and Insurance Exhibitors must buy effective and enough insurance. Insurance coverage includes theft, fire disaster, public responsibility, property damage, personal injury, other’s loss, accidents, natural disaster, and others required by exhibitors and organizers. These insurances definitely protect exhibitors’ property and activities (of employees, agents, contractors, sub-contractors, and assignees) during the show (including the period of move-in and move-out).
Light ControlTo ensure a comfortable environment for trading negotiation, NAB Show Shanghai will control the light on-site. Detailed requirements are listed as follows:1. Exhibitors’ ligting performance is limited into their own booth, and they can not shed th
e light on other booth, disturbing exhibition of other exhibitors.2. If lighting disturbance happens or some exhibitors complaine about the lighting perfor
mance, organizors have rights to ask to stop lighting and issue a written warning.3. After receiving a written warning, if exhibitors break rules again, the booth will have a p
ower off for 2 hours. If exhibitors break rules after the power off of 2 hours, the booth will have another power off for 24 hours.
Noise and OdorsIn fairness to all exhibitors, no noisy or obstructive activity will be permitted during show hours, nor will noisily operating displays, nor exhibits producing objectionable odors be allowed.
Obstacles and Barrier

The aisle shall be maintained at least 3 meters width at the venue. No items, hanging tags shall be placed at the aisle for preventing other exhibitor’s presentation activities.
Photography, Videotaping and Sketching Still cameras may be carried in the exhibit area, but under no circumstances may photographs be taken without expressed authority of the exhibitor concerned in each case. Sketching or drawing machinery on display is prohibited. Videotaping or filming is not permitted in the exhibit area without prior written permission from show organizers. However, exhibitor grants the show organizers, its contractors, licensees and assignees the irrevocable right to make photographs and recordings and reproduce, distribute, sell, transmit, display and publicly perform recordings, transcriptions and derivative works in any medium containing the image of the exhibitor's booth, equipment and/or image and statements of its officers, employees, agents and invitees at the NAB Show Global Innovation Exchange Shanghai.
Security1. NAB Show Shanghai provides perimeter security of the exhibit area, and every
reasonable effort is made to prevent losses. However, the exhibit floor is not completely secure and it is the exhibitor's responsibility to take measures to avoid theft. It is strongly recommended that you hire guards and security cages to protect your products and display materials at all times.
2. Organizer is not responsible for property guard of exhibitors during the show (including the period of move-in and move-out). Organizer cannot represent exhibitors to accept or deliver property, and not responsible for any loss, damage, requirements, costs, compensation, and other expenses due to show cancellation, an early close, starts and ends delay, or natural disaster because of act of god.
3. Exhibitors are responsible for their own property from time to time during the show (including the period of move-in and move-out). In order to prevent any loss or damage, exhibitors can hire security guard by themselves. .
4. All the precious should be locked in safe places. 5. Exhibitors should ensure enough staff to watch out booth and exhibits, especially at lu
nch time. 6. If there is any valuable exhibits, exhibitors should inform organizer in advance and arra
nge for extra security measures by themselves. 7. When exhibitors sell or deliver the property to any other, they must sign documents for
certification, such as receipt, voucher, and etc.8. If anyone discovers suspects committing theft or others, please inform organizer or the
security immediately.
Sound RestrictionSound will be permitted if tuned to a conversational level and if not objectionable to

neighboring exhibitors. No singing, dancing or use of musical instruments or other type of performance is permitted. The sound volume at the booth shall be under a certain level of control, it shall not exceed 75 dB, and it shall not interfere with other exhibitor’s exhibition activities.
Storage Cartons, crates, cases, packing materials and containers used for storage and consignment of exhibits should not be stored within the exhibition hall. Prior arrangements for safekeeping such items must be made with the official freight forwarder. The show organizer reserves the right to remove and dispose of any such items left in the exhibit hall. Exhibitor is responsible for any storage or disposal costs incurred.
Unforeseen CircumstancesIn the event of any occurrence not foreseen in these Rules and Regulations and the terms of contract stated in the contract, the decision of the show organizer shall be final.
