“Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path.” - Psalm 119:105

MY NOTES:

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. ___________________________________________

We welcome everyone including those who are single, married, divorced, crying newborns, tired parents, and doting grandparents. We welcome those who are “just browsing” and those who know every hymn and praise song ever written. We welcome those who think the earth is flat, can’t spell, or because grandma is in town—you wanted to go to church. You have found a perfectly imperfect church filled with perfectly imperfect people who worship our perfect Lord. First time guests - please pickup a welcome gift at the wel-come desk in the lobby. Once again, welcome!

Practice The Pause When in doubt , pause. When angry, pause. When stressed, pause. And, when you pause… Pray!

Please lift your neighbors in prayer…

Praise: for a wonderful weekend of celebration and outreach at our church.

If you’ve been attending a while and would like to chat with pastor Jerry about mem-bership, share your faith journey, and learn more about the mission and vision of Hudson FUMC, join pastor Jerry and Lisa for this informal class. Those that choose to join will be received into membership on Sunday, December 17th.

Stephen Ministry by Tom Meier

A good conscience is a continual Christmas. -Benjamin Franklin ....let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience... Hebrew: 10:22 NIV

THE FIRST CHRISTMAS WITHOUT HIM

And it hurts. The family gathered round the tree is smaller now. You keep thinking of the way it was last year. You miss him.

At this difficult time, a Stephen Minister would like to care for you. Your Stephen Minister will listen while you work through your sorrow & pain.

To find out more about Stephen Ministry or to re-ceive Stephen Ministry care, fill out the pew card, place it in the envelope and seal it. Place it in the offering plate (remember to ask for permission be-fore reporting someone else's need).

Please remember to notify the Church whenever you or a loved one is hospitalized locally so visitation can be made by the Pastor, Visitation team member, or by a Stephen Minister.

In Memory

In Honor

Tis the season to be thankful, to be grateful, celebrate the holiday season with love. Remember we love each other as a result of God loving us first. Accept God’s love and accept our places as dearly loved children in his heavenly family. Let God’s love fill us, flood us, and change us forever. God’s love is unconditional and everlasting. Live loved!

Great news! The Men of Promise have increased their weekly milk donation by 50% to 60 gallons of milk. Thank you Men of Promise for your generosity. The families in our community are grateful. May we continue to support with monetary donations to the Men of Promise Milk Fund.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:17
