Keep moving when off the ball to gain the best position. “Pass and go” a critical skill.4. Penetration
Create incisive runs into the box, both with the ball and without (to receive).

Team Skills - Defending1. Control the depthControl the oppositions space
and freedom by pushing up. Stay close to your midfielders.
2. DelayClosest player should delay
attack to allow defenders to get into position.
3. ConcentrationConcentrate number of bodies
behind the ball to protect the goal. Get back quickly.4. Balance
Ensure balance across the defensive area. Shift across to manage attacks on wings.5. Control & restrain
Don’t rush in! Jockey and watch the ball. Only commit when sure of winning ball.
