If your computer is acting strange, for example you log in and there is nothing on your desktop but a blue screen and your menu bar, what should you do? Restart your computer by going to the menu bar and choosing File\Restart. If the menu

bar is not on the screen, Reboot your computer by holding in the power button for about 8

seconds until the screen turns black. Turn the computer back on. If you are still having issues, create a helpdesk ticket. If you cannot access the internet to create a helpdesk ticket, call your schools ETS or on site Tech Specialist.

If your computer will not boot up, what should you do? Check all cabling, make sure it is secure, if the computer will still not boot up, create a

helpdesk ticket by going to another computer, logging in and creating the ticket or call your schools ETS or on site Tech Specialist.

If your phone is not working, what is the first thing you should do? Reboot the phone by unplugging the network cable that is going from your phone to

your computer. Plug the cable back into the phone and let the phone boot up. If at this point the phone is still not working, create a helpdesk ticket.
