A NOTE FROM THE PASTORWell, I want to thank all the staff, praise team, choir, musicians, ushers and the welcome team for great Holy Week services. Drew West, Tim Peck and Floyd White did an excellent job in the noon services, and our ladies in the UMW prepared delicious lunches. We had great Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services. The Praise Team, orchestra, brass quartet and choir did a great job. The Altar Guild had everything prepared and the stripping of the Altar was meaningful. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to our Lord.

NASHVILLE MISSION TRIP 2019Please prayerfully consider going on the Nashville mission trip this June 30-July 5. The trip will be an exciting opportunity to be Christ’s hands and feet and learn about inner-city poverty. Our hosting organization, City Service Mission (CSM), is planning a great week for us with incredible guides to make sure we serve in meaningful ways. Space is limited so please contact Drew West as soon as possible if you’re interested: [email protected], (678) 267-9081. The cost is $350.00 per person and ages 12+ are welcome. For more information on CSM go to csm.org.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY The TFUMC Children's Ministry has a busy summer planned! In addition to Vacation Bible School (June 17-22), we have Mission Mondays and lots of day trips. The complete schedule is online at the TFUMC website, on the Children's Ministry page. VBS registration is also on that page. For other activities, please call the church office and reserve a spot. OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIESTFUMC seeks to share Christ's extraordinary love through local and international outreach. 2019 outreach plans include: the annual trip to Rwanda in June, an inner-city mission trip to Nashville, TN in July, together with weekly opportunities to serve right here in Thomasville. Outreach here at TFUMC isn't only about doing and serving, but about learning. We want to be a church that's sensitive to different cultures and the felt needs near and far. Through outreach, we believe we not only serve and learn, but grow to love and be more like Christ. If you are interested in joining an outreach activity or learning more about the outreach programs, please contact Drew West by email at [email protected] or by phone at (678) 267-9081. Drew also writes a weekly blog post on his blog: drewincontemplation.blogspot.com.
