TRANSMISSION TRANSMISSION TECHNOLOGY 2TECHNOLOGY 2

Deals with the fundamental theories of Digital Communication. The principles of Digital Transmission and Digital Radio are explained together with multiplexing processes associated with them. This is followed by the study on typical digital and data communication systems like microwave and satellite systems, fiber optics and computer communication systems.

Course Description

Laboratory activities are provided to achieve not only theoretical but also practical understanding of the course.

Course Description

To be able to define or describe common Digital Communication terminologies.

To know the advantages and disadvantages of Digital Communication.

Course Objectives

To be able to enumerate and explain the methods of modulation and demodulation used in Digital Communication.

To be able to describe the operation of Multiplexing (FDM & TDM).

VALIDATION EXAM

An exam given to students who failed in any subject.

A student will have a chance to take the

validation exam if his grade is between 73 to 74.49 at areas where student failed.

This is given on the 20th week.

Thank you!
