Conventional binders such as ce-

ment, lime, or artificial chemical

resins harden completely and often

make the joint impermeable to

water. The consequence: At high

loads, the joint-filling materials be-

come brittle and cracked. The

paving stone move and start to tilt,

and the paved surface becomes a

stumbling trap. The loose stones

grind up the remaining joint filling

and bedding material to a water-im-

permeable meal of stones.

NaturaFix mineral paving sand is

free of chemical binders; it consists

of 100% natural binders, which

mortar the sand mixture without

completely hardening. This makes

the joints permanently highly elas-

tic and water-impermeable. This

formula is the secret of NaturaFix.

Takes on any load

The specially added, sharp-edged

support grains and their size play

an important role in the formula of

NaturaFix. In conjunction with the

mineral sand mixture and the eco-

logical binders, it conducts the

pushing and braking forces to the

paving stones. In this way, the joint

remains stable and prevents the

movement of the stones.

Self-healing

Due to the high elasticity of the

mortared NaturaFix paving sand,

any cracks in the joint continually

“repair themselves” - even after

long dryness. After the next rain,

everything is new again.

Easy processing

NaturaFix paving sand can be mud-

ded in manually or by machine.

The laborious and time-consuming

clean-up effort of cement mortaring

(removing cement residue), for ex-

ample, is no longer necessary.

Sweeping machines

with plastic bristles can be used

because the joint is mortared.

The ratio of support grains to sand

and the support grain size should be

adapted to the respective load of the

surface and to the joint width. This

is because a higher admixture of

support grains is advisable at higher

loads (e.g. lorry). Please indicate
