Students designed Constant Velocity Vehicles. They created their own designs and put their vehicles on a crash course, using math & science models to predict the time and location of the crash.

On Oct. 4 our ET/BS Facilitator, Lane Lindburg, attended the BMIT Workshop. The workshop introduced the new standards for CIS (communication & information systems) and allowed the attendees to work with and provide feedback on the standards. The workshop also presented best practice strategies for teaching Economics and Personal Finance.

Professional Enrichment

Oakdale Staff came to visit our CAPS Studio. We enjoyed the opportunity to share our space and our program with them.

Oakdale 6th Grade- Mrs. Kratky & Mrs. Schmitz brought their students to visit the CAPS Studio. The group learned more about the opportunities CAPS has in store for them in the future. The 6th Graders were engaged, very professional, and a delight to host!

WMS Computer Science Club came by the CAPS Studio. Another group of engaged and professional students! Brandi Petersen came in for a round table with CAPS students as part of Leadership Week. Thank you to Brandi for sharing her time and experience.. CAPS HS attends the
