• EastCoaststayshot:RegionsacrosstheMid-AtlanticandSoutheastwillcontinuetoswelter,withtemperatureshoveringbetween95°Fand105°F.
• ThePlainswillseerelieffromtheheat:ThePlainswillseemoreseasonaltemperaturescomparedwiththeblisteringheatofthepastweek.TheSouthernPlainsandDeepSouthwillcontinuetoseewarmtemperatures,butcanexpectaslightcoolingtrendthroughouttheweek,withtemperaturescoolerthanlastyearandnormaloverall.
• Storms in the Plains and the South: Showers and stormswillmove from the Plains to the Eastduring the second half of theweek. TheOhio Valleywill see the heaviest storms. Coastal Texas,LouisianaandMississippiwillseeveryheavyraincausedbytropicalmoisturethroughoutmuchoftheweek.

• TheSouthwillbecooler:TheSouthernTierwillexperienceareprievefromtheheatseeninJuly,with temperatures slightly below last year andnormal. The Southeastwill see tropical rains andcoolerweather. TheCentral Plainswill start and end theweek slightly cooler than last year andnormal.
• Monsoonshowersexpected:MonsoonalshowerswilldevelopacrosstheSouthwestandmoveoutintothePlainsformuchoftheweek.
