As you have read or heard the Clay County Outreach Pantry, a county non-profit, has
recently received the Holman Center from the Henrietta City Council. This is an awesome opportunity for the outreach to sever more patrons who are food insecure in our area; however, in moving to the larger building
funds are need for equipment, reconfiguration of the building, and sustainability. The First
United Methodist Church Mission Committee and the United Methodist Church has united with interested citizens and the Clay County
Outreach Board to form “Mission Impossible!” This group of
concerned Christian citizens would like to invite you to be a part of the Mission
Impossible! Group. You can call Sharon Fitts, co-chair of “Mission Possible!”, to get more
information or to volunteer. Her information is as follows:

Wednesday Night Meal
November 4th The following are the guidelines that will be followed.
1. Only up to six members in the kitchen. These members will cook, serve and clean. While cooking and serving these members will have on gloves & mask. 2. The church will provide all food, including desserts. Everything will be prepared in the church building kitchen. 3. Meals will be placed in to-go containers and served to members. 4. Seating will be spread out in the fellowship hall, the members will be severed their meal, dessert and drink by the volunteers. We ask that you just have a seat when you come in and someone will server you soon. 5. In order to make this flow smoothly please sign-up the Sunday prior to the meal. By filling out the list in the foyer, by calling the office or sending a email. 6. This year we will also be delivering meals to those whom do not feel comfortable coming due to health conditions. The sign-up process for this is the same as above. If you are interested in volunteering for this great outreach to our members, please contact Dana.
