Associate Pastor Call Committee UpdateThe call committee has extended invitations to three candidates to continue with us in our call

process & come to Omaha to meet the call committee, church staff & other leaders of the

congregation. A response was requested by Friday, November 17. As of Tuesday, November 14,

two of the three candidates have already accepted the invitation & the church staff is currently

working on arranging visits. As soon as these visits are scheduled, we will inform the congregation

of the candidate names. Please continue to pray for this process, the candidates, their families & their ministry.

New HorizonsThe next New Horizon’s meeting will take place on Thursday, December 7, 11:30 a.m. in the

Upper Fellowship Hall at the La Vista Site. Lunch will consist of a potluck & we are asking

PoinsettiasIt’s time to order Poinsettias to help decorate our church for Christmas!! Cost is $7.00 for a 6-

inch, 5-7 bloom plant. Please use an envelope from the back tables in the Worship Center. Fill

out your name, mark it’s for “Poinsettias” & turn it in either in the offering plate or in the basket

on the fireplace in the front office. The deadline to order plants is Sunday, December 10.
