REMOTE TEACHING SESSION: 10.30am – 11.30am daily
Prep students will receive a 1 hour face to face remote teaching session with their teacher each day. These sessions will be
run using Webex and will focus on Reading, Writing, Maths or Inquiry.
The link to your child’s Webex meeting is listed in the table below. Instructions on how to access your child’s Webex meeting
are available on Sentral.

Please log on 5 minutes before the start time.
Ask your child to organise the resources they will need prior to the start time.
When signing in, please use your child’s name as this will be the name displayed to their teacher during the meeting.

Weekend Recount Plan
Step 1: Divide your page into 3.
Step 2: Write- Who, What, Where at the top of the page.
Step 3: Draw a picture of who you spent your weekend with.
Step 4: Draw a picture of some of the fun activities you did over the weekend.
Step 5: Draw pictures of where you completed your weekend activities (eg. backyard, lounge room and bedroom).
Sharing M & M’s Equally
Step 1: Trace around your two hands
onto a piece of paper or in your scrap
books.
Step 2: Draw and cut out 20 round
circles and write the letter ‘m’ in the
middle to represent 1 ‘m&m’.
Step 3: Choose 4 ‘m&m’s and share
them equally between the two hands.
Step 4 : Count how many ‘m&m’s each
hand got and share the answer with
someone in your house.
Example: “ I shared my 4 ‘m&m’s with
my friend. I got 2 ‘m&m’s and Miss
Ryan got 2 ‘m&m’s.
Step 5: Repeat the steps above using
the following numbers:

Step 1: Draw 2 ice-creams in cones
and a bowl in the middle.
Step 2: Use 20 small scrunched up
pieces of paper or cut out 20 small
circles to make your cherries. Place

Step 3: Choose 6 cherries and share
equally between the two ice - creams.
Step 4 : Count how many cherries
each ice-cream got and share the

Write about what you did first on the
weekend, using the sentence starter

Include information about when you did
