1. Meetings and Communication Why bother?

Weekly meeting/communication with supervisorsReporting on plans and progress

MUST communicate with supervisors at least once a week. Logbook or equivalent.

Desirable to meet face-to-face at a scheduled meeting time. If not possible, then update your supervisor with what you have achieved and what you have not achieved in the week.

Action items MUST be formally recorded and agreed on each week Whichever method is chosen it must be available for review by supervisors and course coordinator at suitable time during the semester.

Key PointsGroup projects MUST identify separate things to work on AND report on i.e. INDIVIDUALLYIf you have not found a project yet you must focus on doing so IMMEDIATELY Start weekly meetings before end of this week24 CP means you must work on your project for at least 20 hours a weekQuestions?Use of Databases and Library
