Thank you to all the families who made Camp Wilderness such a big success! We es-pecially thank the following for hosting, planning and teaching: Scott and Melinda Bar-ton, Lauren Brumfield, Brenden, Jenny and Devin Carroll, Tucker and Megan Jobes, Jason and Lora Luna, Anna Luna, Kay McFarland, Cambre and Chelsea Thrasher, and Mike and Gena Ussery. Thanks to so many of our youth group members for volunteer-ing as group leaders and helpers. And thank you to parents and grandparents who
stayed to help however they could, donated ahead of time and chauffeured their kids around! We could not have done this without the help and support of all our volunteers. Thank you! -- Justin
Ruth Raines as she recovers from a recent stroke; she also needs to have hip
replacement surgery; Truman Coltrane as his health has declined recently; he is
home with constant care from Helen and Scheryl as he falls a lot.
Jon Davis’ mom, Sue Davis, has been diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian
cancer. She and Jon have been at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center this past week.
She will be scheduled for surgery in the next couple of weeks.
The Essex’s granddaughter, Victoria Lacy, as she continues chemo; she had chemo last
Wednesday and full body MRI and scans on Thursday.
Julie Alexander’s surgery is tomorrow (7/27) at Cox South. Cards of encouragement would be
welcome. Shirlane Horton will have knee surgery on 8/11.
Connie Thompson is not doing well. Greg Larimore’s mom, Carol,l is doing better after her
surgery. Ethan Bowling as his broken arm heals. Ryan Murray is in Hawaii recovering from
spinal surgery. Nancy Snider’s sister is back at Magnolia Square.

We are long overdue on getting a note of thanks and
appreciation to all of you for calls, cards, food, prayers and
every act of kindness shown to our family during Oran’s
declining health and passing to the great beyond. Standing by us
with words of comfort and encouragement has strengthened our faith
