Grow in faith through reflection and discussion
Dialogues in Faith takes place on Sundays at 9:00am
and 10:30am in the Fellowship Center at the Our
Saviour’s Campus. Join us this Sunday as we speak,
listen, learn, and grow together. Using Crash Course, a
fun, engaging video series, we will look at how
Christianity and other religions address the apocalypse
and the flood. Why do humans want to know how it all
ends so badly? How can end-of-the-world stories help us
better understand our faith? See you there!
Men’s Ministry
Next Men’s Breakfast will take place on Saturday,
March 9, at 7:30am, at the Our Saviour’s Campus.
Our guest Speaker is Daniel Thompson from the
DuPage Forest Preserve. Come learn more and enjoy
some fine food and fellowship. All men are invited and
welcome!

find it a valuable opportunity to support their children’s
faith life and give back to the community.

Children’s Musical
Table for Five... Thousand!
The Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes
We invite all to the Children’s Spring Musical, which takes
place at the 5pm service on Saturday, March 16, and the
10:30am service on Sunday, March 17, at the Our
Saviour’s Campus. An ice cream social will follow the
Sunday performance. All are welcome!
Children in the Seraphim and Cherubim Choirs will
perform “Table for Five...Thousand!: The Miracle of the
Loaves and Fishes,” which tells the story of how Jesus
feeds the 5,000 with only five loaves of bread and two
fish, provided by a boy named Benjamin.
Kiersten Spayer, director of the Cherubim Choir, and
Caitlin Skrbec, director of the Seraphim Choir, will co-
direct the musical.
“The musical is such a wonderful way for kids to lead
worship and share scriptures in the Bible,” Kiersten said.
“Through singing, acting, and dancing, the children are
able to express the word of God in a beautiful and highly
creative way.”
“The children love learning the story of the musical each
year,” added Terry Thompson, choir director. “They look
forward to spending time together singing, dancing, and
acting. They are growing their relationships with each
other and growing their faith. They will remember these
songs and stories throughout their lifetime. The musical
provides an early connection to their church and lets the
children know that the congregation loves them and
supports them.”

Missions
Holy Family Ministries and Dr. Seuss Day
Monday, March 4, 9:30am and 12:30pm, Holy Family
School. You can read at one or the other or both
sessions. Share in the joy of reading with our Holy
Family School students. We will meet at Our Saviour’s
Campus at 8:30am and carpool to Holy Family.
What’s in the Bag?
Hope, comfort, and a good
night’s sleep! We invite you to
drop off your plastic bags in the
“Bags” box at the Our Saviour’s
Campus to assist Our Saviour’s
member, Vicki Witt, and her
students with a community project.
They fold, cut and chain plastic
bags, then crochet them into sleeping mats for those
experiencing homelessness. They're in need of plastic
bags, the kind we get from stores and other places.
Simple but purposeful! Drop your plastic bag in the
“Bags” box. It’s a win-win for everyone!

Members of Our Saviour’s, visitors and passersby on
Washington Street will soon notice something different at
the Our Saviour’s campus: a new monument sign.
The sign will stand six-feet tall and have an 11-foot brick-
masonry base, a double-faced LED illuminated sign and
an aluminum face. The Our Saviour’s Property
Committee hopes to have the sign installed by June,
replacing the 50+-year-old sign, which had become
structurally unsound. This very visible and physical project, funded by the Mae Frutchey estate, will memorialize
Ms. Frutchey, who was a charter member of Our Saviour’s.
Thank you to members of a special task force, Jim Hiner, Katie Pendlay and Mark Witt, for their hard work in
reviewing preliminary drawings and bids from two sign companies. The Property Committee, Memorial Committee
and Church Council have approved Doyle Signs, Inc. to complete the project.
