HOLIDAY HOURS

The Church Office will be closed on Monday, December 31st and Tuesday, January 1st in ob-servance of the New Year. Be safe during the holiday. 2019 CALENDARS The 2019 Maronite Calendars are now available for distribution in the church foyer after all the liturgies. Please make every effort to pick one up. EPARCHIAL CHRISTMAS APPEAL Two weeks ago, the Eparchy's Christmas Appeal Letter was mailed to every household for which it has an address. Unfortunately, the mail house made a mistake and included the wrong donation envelope with the letter. The mail house correct-ed their error by sending a second mailing with the correct donation envelope. Please keep a look out for the new letter, and prayerfully consider responding to God for his numerous blessings by making a sacrificial gift to the Eparchy this Christmas. If you did not receive the letter but would like to, please mail [email protected]. You may also send any address change infor-mation to that email address. Thank you.

APPRECIATION LUNCHEON Join us for our parishioner/volunteer appreciation luncheon on Sunday, January 6, 2019 after the 11:00 AM Liturgy in the MCC. Everyone is in-vited to join us and celebrate our successes throughout the year. MEMORIAL LITURGIES Remembering a deceased family member with a memorial Divine Liturgy is a prayerful and loving remembrance of our loved ones. The memorial liturgy form is available in the bulletin. Please complete and return the form to the church office to schedule the liturgies for your loved ones. In addition, you may also provide the flowers for the liturgy (in memory of your loved ones, in honor of someone or for a special intention) and/or refreshments for the fellowship. We will acknowledge the names of the people that provide flowers or refreshments in our weekly bulletin. Every effort will be made to accommodate your first choice of date for your liturgy, however that may not always be possible. Please contact the church office for more questions. FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK A very special thank you to all of you for all your dedication and support in 2018 and for your gen-erosity during the Christmas season. I will keep all of you in my prayers. I am looking forward to another year together. Happy New Year 2019. ST. MARON’S WEEKEND Save the date and join us for the St. Maron Feast Day celebration on Saturday, February 9 with the annual hafli and Sunday, February 10 with Di-vine Liturgy at 11:00 AM. This year, Archbishop Gustavo will be joining us for the liturgy and the reception afterwards to honor the 2018 Silver Massabki, Faith of the Mountain, St George Ap-preciation Award, and other award recipients. Tickets for the hafli will be on sale starting Janu-ary 12. More information will follow. CONTRIBUTION ENVELOPES As always at this time of year, your contribution envelopes will be mailed out to you every quar-ter. If you do not receive your envelopes or have changed your address, please contact the church office at 210-690-9569.

Today's Memorial Liturgy is a prayer offering for the souls of the following deceased parishioners and

MEMORIAL LITURGIES 2019

Remembering a deceased family member with a memorial Divine Liturgy is a prayerful and loving remem-brance of our loved ones. If you wish, you may also provide the flowers for the liturgy and refreshments for the fellowship following the liturgy (in memory of your loved ones, in honor of someone, for a special inten-tion). Our parish continues to grow and the Sunday calendar fills up quickly. So, if you wish a memorial litur-gy for your deceased family members or friends, please complete the form below. Every effort will be made to accommodate your first choice; however, that may not always be possible. If the date requested is already taken and if both families agree, there can be two mass intentions for that date. Please take time to complete the form below to confirm your date and return to the church office at your earliest convenience.
