Ideally making a condensed version. Students should then complete the follow up activity that is set out in the workpack.

Government and Politics

Students are working on revising content from Paper 1 and 2. Each lesson is a new section title to the workbook which includes three types of questions: Core tasks, Extended tasks and ‘Aiming for A’ tasks. Students are to complete the reading using the revision guides for each paper, make notes and explain what the notes are saying. Students should make their own summary of this through words and visual prompts. Ideally making a condensed version. Students should then move onto looking at the ideology sections of each paper (Paper 1: Socialism, Liberalism, Conservatism and Paper 2: Anarchism). Each week a knowledge quiz uploaded to pupilshare in the designated year group folder for Government and Politics for students to check their progress.

H&SC

To continue with their unit coursework components and continue to send work to be checked to their HSC teacher. Read through the exam component revision material and prepare revision notes and complete practice questions. Work tasks for exam will be uploaded to pupilshare. Mrs Stewart will upload and e mail exam component instructions.

History

Continue and complete tasks set by both teachers. For Tudors there is now an updated revision instruction sheet on pupil share. For Russia - complete an overview of all units. For Tudors - make notes using text book pages 87-91 on changes in government and then p100-110 on Henry's final years. Complete any past papers that they already have in their booklets.

There is a Content Booklet and an Activity Booklet for each topic which enables them to understand the content, put it into a new format, then synthesise that information by applying exam skills and then check their understanding with a fill in the gaps model answer.
