For Conduct and Innocents2pm, Sunday, October 18, Trinity ChurchThe Congregational Arts Committee of Trinity Church will celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s death by presenting a dramatization of the poetic drama “For Conduct and Innocents.” This verse piece was written by parishioner J. Chester Johnson and not only depicts the events in Bonhoeffer’s life during his last three years but also chronicles the theological growth of this Christian martyr, right up to his execution in 1945 by the Nazis in the Flossenberg Concentration Camp. This poem-play will not only be dramatically read but also mounted as a multimedia event.

Mark Francisco Bozzuti-Jones and the Rev. Kristin Kaulbach Miles. In the weeks following the service, join the Rev. Sarah Segal McCaslin of the Psychotherapy and Spirituality Institute in Journeying Through Grief, a six-week series to explore grief and healing. 10th Annual 12-Step Recovery RetreatDecember 11-13, St. Marguerite’s Retreat HouseTenth annual 12-step recovery retreat at St. Marguerite’s Retreat House, Community of St. John Baptist, Mendham, NJ, facilitated by the Rev. Stuart Hoke, Th.D. “All recovery is a matter of connection making. Task Force on ProgrammingIn 2013, Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects was selected by the vestry to design the new building at 68/74 Trinity Place. The Task Force on Programming (TFoP), representing members of the Trinity parish, was appointed to review data from market surveys, staff input, needs assessments, and information gathered from the inclusive meetings known as charettes that actively solicited input from the public, Trinity partners, and worshipping community. TFoP, which meets regularly, will make recommendations to the vestry about mission-related program space.
