RAINBOW WALK TODAY I FEEL... GUIDED RELAXATION

Page 28: Week 8 Kindergarten

DRAW YOUR BREATH

Place your pencil or chosen drawing tool on the paper. Take a moment to notice and observe

your breathing. Visualise your breath as a line and represent this on the paper. Spend a few minutes playing with different types of lines

as you notice your breath. Try breathing a bit faster, or a bit slower then notice how this

changes your lines on the page.

5 SENSES

Notice one thing that you can taste. Focus on one thing you can taste right now, in this moment.

You can take a sip of juice, savour some chocolate, eat something, notice the current taste in your mouth, or even

open it to search the air for a taste.

Page 29: Week 8 Kindergarten

Our actions towards another person, including what we do, what we say, when and how we say it, our facial expressions and body language, influence the kind of reaction we get from the other person. If we are angry, hurtful or yelling, it is likely that the other person will be angry, hurtful and yell back at us. So before we talk with another person, especially if we are upset, it’s important to stop and think about how we will come across to that person.

Choose 1 emotion/behaviour and draw a picture of a person showing it. Then draw how another person might look when reacting to that person.

How is this impacting on my learning?
