First, Ann Arbor Languages Partner is an organization that providesopportunities for UM students to teach children languages. The logoin some measure is designed for childrens, to attract them and togain their confidence. Thus, I dont want it look too serious, but itshould still be formal. Then I decided to use sans-serif fonts ratherthan serif fonts because the latter is always very serious. Verdanalooks formal, reliable while it is also relaxed and comfortable. Itmatches quite well in this context.
