Math - We will continue learning about number patterns, i.e. skip counting, repeated addition, even/odd numbers, and two-step word problems. Spelling - We have a new pattern of –ee that also says “long e”. Study study study! Spelling tests are always Friday mornings. S.S./ Science- We are exploring the relationship of people and their government in social studies. We have one more experiment to complete- Bananas! We are beginning to write our own stories! Each student has a writing folder where they will keep their writing for each unit of study!

Reading- We are half way through our unit 1 of reading curriculum. Students have learned 24 new vocabulary words and 30 new sight words! Congratulate them!

Math- We will continue learning about number patterns, i.e. skip counting, repeated addition, even/odd numbers, and two-step word problems.

Late homework will not be accepted unless prior arrangements (before Friday) have been made with student.

Please remember to initial (anywhere) on your child’s behavior chart daily so I know you are aware of the behavior in class.
