National Anthem byEmmalie Munson

Emmalie Munson was born in Arizona to Dean and Teresa Munson in 1999. With my dad in the

Air Force they moved a lot, living in England from 2001 to 2003, then stationed at the Minot

Air Force Base later moving to Bottineau in 2008. She has performed in numerous

productions (3 lead roles and 11 high school plays). Currently a senior planning to attend

West Virginia University majoring in Journalism and minoring in Political Science. Though my future focuses on writing, I know acting and

singing will be a major role in my life.

Welcome to Bottineau and Dakota College!

It is our pleasure to again host Marketplace for Kids! Each year we look forward to seeing the innovative and imaginative projects and ideas that students bring to the Marketplace event. The enthusiasm and energy that students generate at Marketplace for Kids is truly impressive, and this energy makes for an exciting experience for everyone involved.

Participants at Marketplace for Kids not only have an opportunity to share their ideas, they also get to learn about careers and entrepreneurship possibilities that can help guide them as they think about their future plans. Because anticipating the future is a key part of planning for success, the Marketplace activities are important in igniting the spark of future career possibilities. Best wishes from all of us at Dakota College at Bottineau and the entire Bottineau community. We hope you have a great day!

Sincerely, Jerry Migler, PhD Campus Dean

The idea of owning our own consignment store in Bottineau, started as a vision with my twin sister

and I. Having always enjoyed shopping at second hand stores and saving money on quality

clothing just makes sense. In May of 2017, we found the perfect location on the corner of Main St and Hwy 5. Our dream came true, naming the

store L&L Closet, which stands for Linda and Lisa. We have been open for about 8 months and

are excited and looking forward to our future.

MARKETPLACE FOR KIDS EDUCATION DAY - Wednesday March 14th, 9:15 AM - 2:00 PM

National AnthemOh, say can you see, by the dawn’s early light,

what so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous

fight, o’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?

And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.

O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave o’er the land of the free and the home of

the brave!
