The Japan Update Conference 2015 will be presented on Wednesday, February 25 th , at the Hya Regency in downtown Indianapolis. The annual event is designed to highlight Indiana-Japan economic partnerships and provide an update on key issues in contemporary Japan. The 2015 program will feature perspecves on the globalizaon – and the localizaon - of Japanese manufacturing and business, including changing trends, opportunies, and challenges. Now in its fourth year, the Japan Update Conference has become a signature event in the Midwest, providing a business, economic and internaonal relaons outlook for the year with discussion of developments for Japan and Indiana, as well as key issues for the Japan-U.S. relaonship in Asia. The conference draws business, community, government, and economic development leaders from throughout the state and region. Special thanks to the speakers who are traveling from Japan: Takeo Nishitani, Chairman of Weber Shandwick, Japan; Shinichi Iizuka, Chairman of TOA Industries; Yoshiki Taka, President, SMC Corporaon; and Tony Suzuki, Director, State of Indiana Ja- pan Office. The Japan-America Society of Indiana presents the 2015 annual Japan Update Conference in partnership with the Sasakawa Peace Foundaon and the Naonal Associaon of Japan-America Sociees (NAJAS). 「Japan Update Conference 2015」が2月25日(水曜日)にインディアナポリス・ダウンタウン ハイアット・リージェンシーにて開

催されます。この年次イベントは、現在の日本の重要課題に焦点を当てると共に、インディアナと日本の経済連携の情報をお知らせ

することを目的としています。本年のプログラムは、日本の製造業やビジネスにおける世界の動向や機会、課題などを含んだグロー

バリゼーションまたローカライゼーションに焦点を当てております。今年は4年目を迎え、米国中西部では、日本とインディアナの

発展、また日米やアジアとの関係における重要課題を議論する上で、ビジネスや経済、国際関係の展望に関する情報を提供するとて

も期待されているイベントとなっております。このカンファレンスは、インディアナ州や中西部全土からビジネスやコミュニティ、

政府、経済開発グループのリーダーの方々が注目しており、多数ご参加されます。
