We are honoured to be your Chairs for the 66 th and we are excited to Fuel Your Dreams, as we travel through the beautiful state of California here at the Banff Springs Hotel or Hotel California! Fuel is the essence of the Oil and Gas Industry. It produces energy and power, but on a personal level fuel is what gives us drive. It is what inspires us and ignites our souls and ultimately allows us to fulfill our dreams. We plan to Fuel Your Dreams three ways this week... We will Fuel Your Mind through the Business Forum; we will Fuel your Body through activities, great food and drink; and we will Fuel Your Soul through experiences, connections, and friendships. And what better place to refuel yourself than in California! We would like to thank the past Chairs of the 65 th , John and Gio Gorman, for their support and guidance, as well as all of the past chairs for their wisdom, as we took the reins for the 66 th . We would also like to thank our Governors or California Dream Team, who have made our theme California—Fuel Your Dreams come to fruition. A year of planning has gone into this event and we are so grateful to our Dream Team for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to this organization. Endless hours have gone into making this event come together and we are excited to finally fuel your mind, body, and soul. We kick start the week with the Energy Executive Business Forum, where we will Fuel Your Mind with opportunities to network and relationship build with energy leaders from across North America. We have expanded the forum from a one day to two day event, as we feel this in an invaluable opportunity to expand your horizons on First Nations relations, climate change, and reenergizing the oil and gas sector. We will Fuel your Body with the 66 th Oilmen's golf tournament, as well as the Partner's golf tournament, where you will get an opportunity to drive through the state of California from San Diego to San Francisco on the Pebble Beach golf course. Make sure you also try out the Palm Springs putting contest too. If you're not a golfer, take a tennis lesson with our pro Dietmar Rauntenbach. With all of the activities planned, you will need to ensure you Fuel your Body with great food and drink. Make sure you try a Kalifornia Kiss cocktail on the Santa Monica Pier at the golf course and enjoy some of the wonderful California dishes prepared by the Fairmont's, Executive Chef J.W. Foster, who has an extensive background in California cuisine from his work as the head chef at the Fairmont, San Francisco. No need should be left unmet this week! Oilmen's Golf Tournament The 66th Oilmen's Tournament will commence the morning of Friday, August 26, and will conclude on Saturday, August 27 in a three­roundmatch play format. Shotgun starts will be at 7:30 a.m. for both Friday and Saturday. Friday matches will consist of two (2) 9 hole matches thatwill be decided by a chip off pre­determined by the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course should the match still be tied after the completion ofthe 9 holes. Saturday’s matches will be a 18 hole match that will allow for extra holes to determine winners should the matches still be tiedafter regulation play. The field will be divided into flights of eight (8) golfers based on handicaps and prior year's Tournament performance toensure competitive matches across each flight. All golf is on a match play basis; winners will advance toward the Championship Round withthe remaining players progressively advancing through the Consolation and Joint Venture events. Flight names carry the monikers of major oiland gas fields, with winners taking home unique awards and the honor of having their name inscribed on the specific flight trophy.Click here to read more.

Partners Brunch

The Partner’s Brunch is one of the social highlights of the CEEA. Thisyear’s event embraces our Chair and Co­Chair’s theme of California—Fuel Your Dreams.

From the moment you enter the Conservatory, you will be entertainedin true Hollywood fashion. Our young dancers will provide an escortto your table where this year’s beverage, the Kalifornia Kiss will bewaiting as your first refreshment.

A wonderful breakfast brunch has been tastefully prepared by theoutstanding chefs of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. As the morning program proceeds we will have our dance troupe entertain you withthree specially prepared California themed dance numbers lead by our very own choreographer out of St. Albert.

The morning’s highlights will also include our special guest speaker, Keltie Knight from Los Angeles. Keltie is a weekend co­host for ABC’sInsider. She has numerous accomplishments to her credit; such as a talented dancer for the New York Knicks, the New York Jets, and theRadio City Rockettes, a well known interviewer of Hollywood actors, a published author, as well as appearances in several movies and musicvideos. We are extremely fortunate to have Keltie as our presenter at this year’s Partner’s Brunch!
