On a stormy night in the winter of 2516, mad scientist Doctor Prospero worked late in his laboratory, aided only
by his wife, Gloria, as he developed the elusive formula known as ‘The X-Factor’ - with which he would change the world. Tired of his mind games and grand plans, the apparently faithful GLoria duped him and sent him off into hyper-space in an old spacecraft.
Unknown to Gloria, her infant daughter, Miranda, slumbered peacefully in the craft and was now catapulted light years into the future in her father’s company.
Fifteen years later, a routine survey flight under the command of the chisel-jawed Captain Tempest leaves earth’s orbit with a new Science Officer aboard - a hard and bitter woman. As a shower of meteorites hits the ship, the Science Officer flees and the craft is pulled inexorably towards the planet D’Illyria - the Forbidden Planet. The adventure begins ......
IMPORANT AUDIENCE INFORMATION
We welcome you on board Survey Flight Nine as we begin our orbit and interplanetary exploration. We kindly ask that you remain
strapped in whilst the space craft is in motion and that you keep all aisles free of personal belongings. In the event of an emergency, you will be directed to your nearest exit located at the side and rear of
the space craft.
Please refrain from using electronic devices - ensuring they remained turned off at all times - as these will interfere with our transmitters and receivers. We also ask that no photography or
video footage is captured during the flight as doing so may distract our navigation.
