11:00 Design challenge: Visions of an intergenerational, resi-led, mixed-use futureResidential-led, mixed-use schemes are being hailed as the solution to both the retail and housing crises. To date, the focus haslargely been on redeploying redundant retail space both on the high street and in shopping centres. In the future, however, schemeswill be mixed-use by design. They will also be intergenerational, multi-tenure and full of smart-tech.

We challenged some of the UK’s top architects to come up with their visions of the resi-led, intergenerational, tech-driven, mixed-useschemes of the future. In this dynamic session, they will pitch their visions to an expert panel and the RESI audience. The expert panelwill debate the pros and cons of each scheme and deliver their verdicts. But ultimately, it will be up to the RESI audience to vote forwhat they think is the most compelling vision.
