ABOUT THE SPIRE

The faded glory of the former St Marks Chapel is reborn as The Spire, Kemp Town’s newest, most atmospheric venue.

On many levels the space is a blank canvas for creative couples to get their hands on and you can’t help but be inspired by the chipped paint and quirky features.

The stained-glass windows let in an abundance of natural light and the large, gothic inspired front doors make for a dramatic entrance. The main hall lends itself to a variety of layouts and can accommodate wedding parties of up to 300.

The venue is not licensed for ceremonies, but celebrant led ceremonies are welcomed. There are a number of catering and bar options available and hire includes a Wedding Coordinator who will help you in both the lead up to your event and on the day itself.

The Spire can be hired at any time of the year and is available both weekdays and weekends!

HIRE THE SPIRE

HIRE OF THE SPIRE IS £2,750. This includes: • Drop off and set up the

evening before

• Hire of the space from 9am to 12 midnight on the day of your wedding

• Pick up the day after

• A Wedding Coordinator – which includes an hour consultation to help you be fully prepped for planning your big day, offering links to suppliers, support throughout your planning and on the day coordination

• Use of existing chairs and tables

PARKING & TRAVEL The Spire has a small carpark and there is on street parking nearby plus we are on great public transport routes. It is around a 10 minute taxi journey from Brighton station and buses also run regularly from there to right outside the venue.

PREFERRED SUPPLIERS We work closely with a number of high-quality, trusted local suppliers that we can recommend, but you do not have to use them.

FOOD & DRINK We use outside caterers for our weddings and can accommodate everything from food trucks to three course fine dining. We have caterers that we recommend and can help you find the right fit for you.

BARWe are happy to provide a bar and have a great selection of drinks, we can also take requests! If you wish to bring in your own alcohol, we charge a corkage fee of between £2 and £5 pp depending on what you want to bring in. Some of our recommended caterers can also provide a bar service.
