Our indoor ceremony rooms give you peace of mind about the British weather, making them a popular choice, especially for winter weddings!

Our stunning Sir Percy Blakeney Suite (pictured left) overlooks the Crescent lawns, and is ideal for up to 30 people. Our peaceful library is perfect for intimate ceremonies of up to 20 people. For larger Exclusive Use weddings, the elegant Dower House Restaurant can seat up to 100.

Your very own special space, our walled Wedding Garden can seat up to 30 guests, or up to 100 guests with Exclusive Use.

Stay with your nearest and dearest in the Garden Villa, a standalone building with two bedrooms and two suites – perfect for getting ready in during the day, and then staying the night in!

Let birdsong be your music, and flowers be your perfume - in our acre of perfect English country gardens!

Say “I do” beneath our licensed pergola, which you can decorate as you wish with flowers, vines or perhaps fairy lights. Celebrate with Champagne on the spacious lawns, then take your photographs amongst the bountiful roses and the lavender.

The food of love…Our award-winning Head Chef David Campbell and his team will create a freshly prepared fine dining meal for you and your guests. We have multiple menu choices available to choose from and can, of course, make adjustments to suit your preferences.

If you wish we can serve you afternoon tea in one of our delightful event spaces or even arrange a BBQ in the garden – perfect for a summer wedding!

...and the sleep of dreamsWhy not make the most of your day and stay the night too? With Exclusive Use, you and your guests can have your pick of our 45 luxurious rooms and suites. Or, if it is just you and your beloved staying with us, we have a wide range of romantic suites to choose from, many with stunning views, four poster beds or balconies.

A leisurely midday check-out the following day ensures the perfect way to finish your celebrations; watch the sunrise from your window, order breakfast in bed, then take a restorative dip in our tranquil spa.

Choose Exclusive Use and the entire hotel is yours for enjoyment, meaning you and up to 150 guests can relax together in total privacy on your special day.

Our award-winning spa is on-site for you and your guests to enjoy – perfect for pampering before the wedding, and relaxation the morning after. You’ll have the run of the gardens, with their myriad trees, plants, flowers and wildlife. And you’ll have all 45 rooms and suites from which to take your pick.

Exclusive Use

Non-Exclusive UseNot everybody wants a big wedding, and the RCH has many beautiful rooms which are especially suited to a more intimate event! Say “I do” in one of our delightful function spaces, use our acre of private gardens as a backdrop for your photographs and your drinks reception. Finish your day with a delightful meal in our private dining room where the staff will tend to your every need.

We are often able to welcome couples seeking ceremonies and receptions within a short timeframe, particularly for smaller events. Whether your big day is next month or next year, we will do our utmost to accommodate you and to make your day very special.

Last Minute Weddings

Here are a few of the questions we receive regularly from brides and grooms to be!

Q. Do we need to source our own florist or can you arrange that for us?

Being based in the heart of Bath, we enjoy proximity to a number of excellent florists, hairdressers, marquee owners and make-up artists. Simply choose from our list of preferred suppliers, or choose your own and let us know!

Q. What time is Check In and Check Out?

A. Check in is from 3pm, and check out from 12 noon, but you’re welcome to stay later into the afternoon to keep using the Spa or to relax in our Gardens.

Q. Do we need to provide our own linens and stationery?

A. No, all linens are provided for you. We can create your

place names, menu cards and table plans on our RCH branded stationary but you’re also welcome to bring your own.

Q. Can we have dancing in the evening?

A. Due to the impact on other residents, we can only accommodate an evening reception when Exclusive Use of the hotel is taken.

Q. Will you be there on the day?

A. A member of the Events Team will be there on the day to coordinate the arrival of your guests and help ensure everything runs smoothly.

Q. Do you book the Ceremony?

A. No, you need to contact Bath & North East Somerset Registry Office to book your ceremony. Please ask our Events Team for their contact information.
