CAMP HORIZON WEDDINGS
We offer a rustic setting, nestled in
the heart of Kananaskis, perfect for a
natural wedding environment. We
cater weddings for up to 145 people.
A site visit is recommended to further
understand what our facility has to
offer. Our main hall is warm and
inviting with a rustic appeal. Your
décor can complement our existing
spaces.
Wedding bookings are offered
during the months of September
through May. All bookings require a
Friday – Sunday “all camp” booking
which includes the use of our main
hall, accommodations, yurt site, and
beautiful fire pit area overlooking the
Elbow River to ensure you are the
only group on site.
Single day rentals are also available,
pending approval. Please ask us for
details.
CAMP WEDDINGS
Affordable, Customized Packages:
Do it Your Way! There are many ways
to make a camp wedding a success,
and your weekend can be
packaged according to your needs.
Most plans include a Friday night
dinner and evening stay for the
wedding and planning party, with
guests arriving on Saturday in time for
lunch, followed by an afternoon of
activities and fun.
A romantic wedding ceremony
situated at the heart of the Rocky
Mountains begins the evening, with
hors d’oeuvres and the dinner
reception immediately following. A
Sunday brunch caps the weekend
off, completing a memorable and
unique weekend. This is just one
option! You can choose exactly how
you envision your day – It’s your
weekend!
A camp wedding nicely mixes the
casual with a taste of elegance. Your
guests can enjoy the beautiful
outdoors at the foot of the Rocky
Mountains and a beautiful wedding
all in the same day.
What will it be like? Relaxing and fun
for everyone! This will be a unique
and a wonderful weekend that will
be remembered by everyone lucky
enough to share this with you!
WHAT TO EXPECTDO IT YOUR WAY
OUR FACILITIES
Our Main Hall offers a dramatic setting for your
reception with floor to ceiling windows, a large
fireplace, and seating for up to 145 guests.
The main hall can be transformed into an elegant
venue with the addition of rental china, glass
wear and tablecloths. You can arrange the dining
room as you wish, along with decorations, special
lighting, and centerpieces.
MAIN HALL
For your ceremony, we have ample outdoor
locations with breathtaking views. Should the
weather not cooperate the main hall offers a
beautiful setting around our elegant fireplace.
Depending on the size of your guest list we can
offer a combination of seated and standing
space. We will require your help to flip the room
from ceremony to reception.
CEREMONY
Accommodations are a rustic bunk style
with shared bathroom and shower facilities.
Buildings include: Wolf Den, Eagles Nest,
Moose Lodge, and Wapiti Lodge. Booking
the entire facility includes accommodations
which can accommodate 145 guests.
Guests are required to bring bedding and
towels.
ACCOMODATIONS
1 Day rental fee Saturday 2 PM – Sunday 2 PM = $5115
2 Day rental fee Friday 2 PM – Sunday 2 PM = $8955
You are welcome to choose the buildings that you will use for your wedding, however, without a full
facility rental, we cannot guarantee your wedding party will be the only group onsite that day.

Basic facilities including; main field, basic sport equipment
(basketballs, baseball equipment), fire pits, and kitchen.
We recommend alternate accommodations for guests who
would like something different than the camp experience.

CAMP RENTAL INCLUDES
A $1,000 damage deposit is required to secure your
booking;
Submit a signed contract with estimates for programming
and meal numbers.
The final balance;
The summary of your group requirements (your final
numbers, cabin selection and dietary restrictions);
The menu selection form;
Proof of Alcohol Liability Insurance;
A copy of Special Occasion Permit.

Your booking allows us to provide life changing programs for individuals with disabilities and medical conditions. If you are interested in having your guests make a donation to Easter Seals Alberta in your honour, let us know! We would be happy to assist you.
CATERING
Weddings are catered by our highly skilled Food Services Team. Our reception/dinner menus can be
customized to suit your tastes and budget. Catering rates for the reception dinner start at $28/person.
Additional meals (breakfast and lunch) can be provided for guests as required. Estimated charges for
other weekend meals can be provided upon request. A 15% gratuity will be charged for food.

CATERING
These are priced according to your choices. Buffet is our standard approach.
Please consider these menu items as examples. Other menu choices are certainly possible but are too
numerous to mention here. Most dietary requirements (including allergies) can be accommodated with
proper notice. A wedding cake is not included. Just ask us and we will make your wedding happen the
way you want!

Bar service is provided at $50/hour which includes two Pro-Serve Bartenders for your reception, or you
can chose to hire your own bartenders from our recommmended providers:

RECOMMENDED BARTENDERS
Bookings must provide their own alcohol and obtain a Special Event Liquor License and Liquor
Liability Insurance. Use of homemade wine, beer, or spirits is not permitted.
Bookings must arrange rental of stemware for their event to accommodate the beverages to be
served (wine glasses, high ball glasses, champaign flutes, etc).
