Presentation
The Château of Chissay is a poem in stone
which has been brought back to life.
A former royal residence, in the shadow
of the Château of Chenonceau, it is an ideal
starting place to discover the surrounding
Loire Valley. The park and the woods
around Chissay make a perfect scenic setting
for accommodations from which you may
explore the castles of Chambord, Blois,
Amboise and the Touraine region.
Its 32 elegant and personalized rooms
overlooking the park, the pool or the
courtyard offer a sleeping capacity for 80
guests.
On the ground floor, three adjoining
parlours can seat 80 people; upstairs, our
2700-square-foot reception room is suitable
for dinners for 140 people or for standing
cocktails for 200 guests. For your cocktails
or ceremonies, we may receive you either in
the interior courtyard with its remarkable
Renaissance stone arcade or on the restaurant
terrace which opens onto a magnificent path
of shade trees, or else on the intermediate
terrace, banking the castle wall and
accessible by the main staircase.
An outdoor pool is in the park of the
castle.

Having your private use of the Château requires meal service for a minimum of 65 guests.
This private use of the Château includes :
Availability of all 32 bedrooms, each
with complete bathroom and toilets : 4
Classic Rooms, 3 Pool Rooms, 10 Château
Rooms, 6 Upper Rooms, 4 Apartments and 5
Suites, for a maximum capacity of 80 guests.
Personalized greeting for your guests
and their luggage brought to their rooms.
Free Access to the swimming pool from
9 am to 8 pm.
Bathrobes in the room and towels for the
pool available at the reception desk.
Rooms available from 3 pm on the
arrival day until miday the following day*.
At your disposal, the “Louis XIV”
parlour, the “Zitto” parlour, the “Vaulted”
parlour and the “Guards Room”.
Round tables covered with white table
cloths (8-10 guests). Possibility of providing
an oval head table for up to 14 diners.
Candelabras on each of the tables.
Service by our professional staff for a
wine/cocktail reception or meals until 2 am.
Personalized menus printed on demand.

The rooms must be vacated
by 12 pm. In case of a
brunch the next morning,
vacancy has to be made

Additional Charges to Consider
Rental of chairs or any other furniture or
fixtures for your outdoor ceremonies and
installation by our staff.
Decorating our chairs with white covers,
with or without organza bows for 5 € per
chair.
Any hour of overtime service after 2 am
will be billed 250 € per hour commenced,
until 4 am at most.
Extra beds beyond 64 participants billed
for any guest 12 years and older : 40 € per
person.
Tourist tax : 0.88 € per adult.
Dinner option for your special service
providers (photographer, musicians…) : 25 €
per person, drinks included.
Lighting for the Guards Room during the
event (about 8 spot lights for the restaurant
area and lights for dancing area).
