Hi Jatinder, The following are my comments after viewing the website you sent me, *The logo is unappealing, it can be redesigned to a better one. *Need to work on font and colors. *The footer nav services should be removed and add feedback instead, because both nav are same and services should linking to feedback page. *Side bar is not working, its very confusing. *Content in about page is very less. *Photos in the accommodation can be presented in a different way. *Also, instead of placing contact info in the header ,it can be better if these will be present in the footer.

Hello Jatinder, I have gone through your chosen website for redesign and these are the main elements that need to be looked into;

1. The location of the navigation is at an odd place as it should be among the first things one should see but it is not.

2. I feel like the trip advisor links should have been at a different location and not at the top of the page as they are.

3. The services section on the side of the homepage look like buttons to a link. This is very misleading. This section could also have been placed in a better place.

4. The colors used on the homepage footer and navigation bar (particularly the pink) do not match. This creates disunity.

5. The fonts used in different sections do not match. This is particularly on the services page and accommodation page.

6. I don't think the slider is required on every page. It begins to lose meaning on some of the pages.

Hi Jatinder, PFB my comments. *An attractive uniform background can be provided instead of the current one, (maybe a beautiful view of the beach) and color pattern can be made better. *Header can be redesigned better by including the navigations, instead of placing it under the slider. Also can use a better color code (contrasting colors) for the same. *Slider can be restricted to the homepage only and the full page under the header can be utilized for the individual sections. *The current typography seems less appealing, it can be changed and the styling for listings can be made better. (In services) *More breathing space can be given in footer. *Also the logo can be re-designed better by changing the font. *The gallery page seems little crowded. More breathing space can be provided by a proper redesign. *A separate Booking option/link, testimonials, social media links, the location of the resort (sitemap) can be added. *The sliding pattern can be made uniform and simple.

Hello Jatinder, Looking at your re-design I have to say it is an improvement from the original. I like the new logo as it suits the description of the website. I also like the colors and arrangements used for the re-design. My only suggestion is with the About Us section. Try switching the colors of heading and the text so that the text is black and the heading is grey to make the text more visible. Other than this I like the overall look of the website.

I am really amazed to see your work. It’s looking very professional and attractive web designs.

I must appreciate your selection of topic as well as creativity behind this.

Starting with logo, I like your selection of colours and typography for the logo. The design of

logo is very unique and it highlights the different layers.

As far as home page concerned, I love the way how you tagged the logo to the header. The

selection of images for banner is worth mentioning. Every element seems perfectly aligned

and representation is very clear. It is enough to grab the attention of the visitors.

In the contact us page, it continue the design flow which started from home page. Contact

form looks perfect and how you use map and address is also noticeable.

On the other hand , the job of maintaining the text with relevant images in presentable way is

perfectly done in About us page. The smart use font style and sizes leaves good impact on the

website.

Overall, these designs are totally professional and attractive which has all qualities a website

should have.

Explanation

The look of website was very out dated, I tried to modernize it which will help end users

explore content easily giving pleasant viewing experience and will give them ease of

navigating things easily.

• In original website, the resolution was not widescreen and there was white space left at right side. In re-designed version I kept wide-screen aspect ratio.

• Home: I merged content from Home, Services and About into one page. As in existing site Home page contained “About” page information and “About” page only had a paragraph about the beach only. Services page had a lot of information not necessary

like Tea/Coffee available etc. All the excess information was eliminated making one clean and informative as well visually good-looking page. I created new portion called

experiences using information given in Services section. Additionally, Testimonials part

was added to the page as I think its important for potential customers to see what to expect. Customer will get good amount of knowledge at one-stop.

• Accommodation: I changed it to Rooms as I think it would suit well as resort offers only two kind of rooms. Combination of Dark pictures with light colors gives pleasant viewing experience. The information is minimalistic and more structured now, Option

to book room earlier was under Contact Us, which was very confusing and could go un-noticed, it needed a lot of information to even get started which might demotivate

customer to even go further, I placed it under Rooms, which I think is its right place. I

minimized it, initially customers will only need to put very limited necessary information needed to get started with booking. It will give hassle free booking

experience for customers.

• Contact Us: The redesigned page has actual contact us portal where customer can put queries etc. Page carries map along with the address of resort which would help

customer navigate.

• Logo: The colors used in it give a calming look. Secondly the most inner part of logo is inspired from sea wave which would associate well with the brand. I think the new

logo looks neat and is easier to reorganize. I think it goes well with the overall theme of website.
