USE OF AGENDA IS MANDATORY AT SISTER ANNATA BROCKMAN
Using this Agenda Effectively Your school agenda has been designed to help you manage your time so that you can take an active part in your learning and personal organization. Use it as a tool to develop your organizational skills and as a way to track your own progress.
Sister Annata Brockman school expects the following concerning the use of this agenda: Use your agenda as a communicator between yourself, your teachers, and your parents (i.e.
appointments, absences, parent nights, special events, and other notes, questions or concerns). Students will be responsible and have their agenda books with them during all classes to
manage their time and learning. Agenda books will serve as a hallway pass (i.e: bathroom breaks, office). Students who forget their agendas will use a classroom agenda book and have it signed to leave
class. You must present your agenda book at the office if coming to school late. A late
signature will be your admittance to class. This includes arriving at lunch hour. Students may purchase additional agendas as
required for $10.

Conduct Policy Sister Annata Brockman School, in accordance with Edmonton Catholic Schools, strives to foster a positive and safe learning environment. We believe that everyone is created in the image and likeness of God and that all are capable of caring and respectful actions. We challenge the behavior but affirm the individual while taking into account the circumstances of each unique situation. As partners in this community of learners, parents/guardians have an important role in fostering and supporting learning, encouraging acceptable behavior and helping students accept the consequences of their actions.
Our conduct policy aligns with the Education and School Acts which are outlined on the next page. This conduct policy is reviewed and adjusted annually by staff. It is then reviewed with students at the beginning of the school year. By signing the front page of this agenda parents/guardians acknowledge that they have read and understand the expectations outlined in their child’s agenda.
Bullying Bullying is defined as the repeated and hostile or
demeaning behavior by an individual in the school community where the behavior is intended to cause harm, fear or distress to one or more individuals in the school community (whether at school or online), including psychological harm or harm to an individual’s reputation.
Any form of bullying will not be tolerated; each situation is unique and will be dealt with as such.
Students need to report bullying to any adult they trust whether it is happening to themselves or others.
Supports are in place to help those who are affected by bullying or other inappropriate behavior through our staff, psychologist and STAY team.
Expectations/Consequences (not inclusive) Students are expected to develop the talents and abilities that God has given them. Specifically, students are expected to:
