Dear Theta Friends and Family,

The women of Kappa Alpha Theta would like to announce the 32nd Annual Rock the CASA 5K Run and Fun Walk, which will be held on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 at 9:00 am. Our goal is to register 1100 participants and raise $100,000. We understand that these are lofty goals, but the Delta Omega Chapter is confident that with your help we can achieve them! All proceeds of the event will benefit Scotty’s House, CASA – Voices for Children, and Theta Foundation.

Scotty’s House is a child advocacy center in Bryan, Texas whose mission is to provide safety, healing, and justice for children victimized by abuse through professional assessment, counseling, and education in a compassionate and collaborative approach. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates and is Kappa Alpha Theta’s national philanthropy. CASA’s mission is to support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy to every abused or neglected child so that every child in the United States can be safe and have a permanent home and opportunity to thrive. Theta Foundation is a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to secure and manage resources for the educational, leadership, and philanthropic programs of the Fraternity. It exists to come alongside the scholastic, professional, and service pursuits of its members to help them reach their fullest potential and make a difference in the world. **All sponsor contracts and donations must be received by Wednesday March 8th, 2017 to be included on the t-shirt.**

Theta Foundation. If you would like to donate to two or three organizations please write separate checks for each. All checks are given directly to the organization to which they are written. Organizations will provide tax certificates to donors.

Silent Auction RequestPrior to and immediately following the 5K Race and Fun Walk, participants will have the opportunity to bid on a variety of items at the Rock the CASA Silent Auction. This has always been a great opportunity to raise extra money for Scotty’s House, CASA – Voices for Children, and Theta Foundation. We invite you to consider donating an item or experience to our silent auction! We want to “Rock the CASA” with an assortment of silent auction items upon which participants may bid.
