You will be working in groups to design a city or town on another planet. Your goal is to come up with a plan so that we may be able to live and survive on a different planet from earth. You need to make it a place people will not want to leave and include various activities for the people who live there to do.

• Find and research planets to see which one will best support human life.• Design a city that human will be able to breath in.• Find out what that planets weather is like and see if

you would need to create a device or something to control the weather• Design activities for the people to keep them

entertained• Come up with a way to keep the people alive (where

will the food come from, water, how will the animals get there.• Present to the class by using PowerPoint and create

a discussion post using Voice Thread for the class to come up with more ideas

• Draw or make a picture of the city with key places marked showing a clear picture of what the city is like

• Come up with a unique discussion to have with the class on Voice Thread and try to incorporate some of the classes ideas in your project http://voicethread.com

• MAKE SURE YOU CITE YOUR SOURCES!!!! Anything that is not your own idea must be cited!! Use your own ideas and give credit where it is due. Be creative!
